Hi guys, China's high speed trains are generally cheaper because of subsidy from the government, the purpose is for the people to travel easier, affordable and faster. That makes it easier for the people to travel more and the more they travel, their opportunities of creating more income increase and the country progress faster. Profits were not their main goal unlike some western countries where being profitable is their main goal, also shows how China were able to lift 800 million people out of extreme poverty, they re-invest their countries' revenues to build more infrastructures for the people also to improve their people's livelihoods. When the people are happy and have good living conditions, they will support their leader(s) again, unlike what's happening in EU and US. We, the citizens on this planet typically want peace, do business, work, enjoy our lives with our families and not wars. From this perspective, China has done incredibly well for the last few decades improving their country overall and its people's lives.

It's very funny because I watched some western media talking about China investment on their trains, and the first thing that pointed out was that the Chinese gov is losing money for their public transport investments. That is true, the Chinese gov. is willingly to lose money and built underutilized train tracks even to regions that are not occupied and developed yet. But the thing is, everything is not just about profit. The western couldn't comprehend why the Chinese would do such things that don't yield profit to them. The Chinese gov said that what they are looking is to stimulate growth. If people can move around freely easily and cheaply, they would. They are not looking for a quick profit for their transportation industry, they are looking for long-term growth of the whole country. This is something that's hard to be understand by capitalistic mind of the west.

Good to see more and more western countries tourists visiting China. There are a few reasons why western countries the governments don't want their citizens to visit China. 1st, to see all the Chinese super infrastructures. 2nd, how China is able to keep the public areas so clean, green and organized. 3rd, why China is so safe even for foreigners. 4th, to see Chinese are super friendly to foreigners. 5th, to know China public transportation is so good, so convenient and cheap compared to their. If those western countries people visit China and see all these, they will realize how useless and incompetent their governments are compared to the Chinese government. With so much taxes they're paying, yet their useless and incompetent governments are not able to provide them the same infrastructures, cleanliness and safety to the people like in China whereby Chinese pay very little taxes or not paying at all. That is why their governments keep lying to them about how bad China is. How undeveloped China is. The governments do not want the people to see the real China and compare.

restaurant food is not expensive and street food really isn't that cheap. as long as you don't go to fancy restaurants you can get really good freshly cooked meals for around $3-4 per dish and you know they give big portions so one dish of anything will fill you up. just pick a couple dishes and some rice on the side. that way you can try lots of dishes on your next trip. as you can tell, most street food isn't prepared to order, it's reheated or assembled to order. yes of course some street food can still be good, but it really can't compared to even a local hole in the wall family restaurant. braised pork(belly), some vegetable dish, some white rice = heaven.

China is a beautiful, modern, safe and friendly country. Blessings from Hong Kong ❤❤
Great videos and honest comments about China. I am from Hong Kong and it was a terrible experience back to 30-40 years ago in China but for the last 15-20 years China has been evolving to be one of the fastest growing countries, and most important of all, the safest country to travel. Tons of HK people travel to China in the South region to shop, to do leisure things and to spend money as well day in day out, and particularly during the weekends. Thanks to you both, because you deserved a lot of praises in exposing the Western politicians' lies. Great work !

Congratulations on getting invited to speak on CCTV. 've been going to China every year since 2002 and still have to get a 2 year visa, which involves leaving the country and going back in after 3 months. But I usually manage to extend it in China, without doing this, by going to a visa office.Maybe next time, go and visit Southern China, so you can pop in to Hong Kong and then go back in. Places worth visiting, are Changsha, Fuzhou,Xiamen, Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Macau, Guiyang, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Sanya (for warm winter)
First of all, thank you for speaking the truth about China. We welcome you to visit again with open arms!😊❤ Second of all, you guys are such a cute couple. Ben, you remind me of Bradley Cooper.

Sorry for my poor English, I would like to recommend 3 restaurants with the most Shanghai characteristics.

Thank you very much for speaking the truths about China. Of course no country is perfect, but for the same low prices, I don't think you can find another country that offer the same amount of safety, cleanliness, entertainment, foods, transportation, and various conveniences.

Next time when you folks visit China, you can rent fashions from different dynasties. Go to Kun-Ming and try out their teas. I don't remember if you have seen the Pandas. Finally, glad you like China!

if someone is mad enough to fabricate lies to convince people to hate you then you are doing something right.
Great deliberation! Enjoyed your experience of touring China. Thank you for sharing and look forward to more from you 😀👍🎉
