@@OTWD_yt Aw the animals. I hate seeing them caged up but I agree that it’s better than wandering the streets starving. I hope they let them out a few hrs a day. Even humans in prison need to get out. I had 2 bunnies and I never leave them in a cage. I had to train them to go in the cage to pee and poop. That was easy. Then I bunny proofed my house. They like to chew on electrical wires. I allowed my bunnies to roam free in my house. My girl bunny Miss Marcus passed away at 12yo. That’s really old for a bunny. She had a dislocated hip, arthritis and couldn’t hop anymore. 😕I had to put her down. My boy bunny Willie died of old age at 13yo. Since then we haven’t gotten another pet yet. It’s so heartbreaking to lose a pet, they’re a family! The nasi padang looks amazing. Everytime I see what you eat, I try to find an authentic restaurant. Tonight, my goal is to find Nasi Padang in Boston I know it can’t compare to eating the real thing in Indonesia

FYI Malang is divided into 2 districts which are the city and the district. In the city area, there is only a few tourist attraction like a town square, rainbow & blue village. Malang City area is famous for its schools, health facilities, café & malls because the number of tourist attraction are few while Malang District is famous for its nature tourism, like mountains, waterfalls, and beaches. they also have non nature tourism like sengkaling, Hawaii waterpark, and Malang night paradise. You can also go to Batu City (which was part of Malang district before they made their own administration in 1995), they got a lot of tourist attractions there, like Jatim Park 1 (Amusement park), Jatim park 2(Batu Secret Zoo), Museum angkut (transportation museum), Jatim Park 3 (Dino Park), Batu night spectacular, paragliding in mount banyak, etc. It’s only 20-25 minutes from Malang city to Batu city using a motorcycle or car, but don’t go to Batu on the weekend because the traffic is tremendous! A lot of local people from different cities are coming to Batu for holiday on the weekend, so better go on weekdays. These 3 areas, Malang City, Malang district & Batu city it’s called “Malang Raya”. Every 11 August, these 3 areas celebrate “Arema day”, which is the day of Malang football club called “Arema” is born, they will put Arema banner on every street and do football parades around this area on that day. I didn’t recommend seeing the football parade, because it’s not good at all. It way much better to see Malang and Batu Flower Carnival than see this football parade. So, if somebody said “come to Malang there are a lot of tourist attractions” usually refers to Malang Raya which is these 3 areas. If you are still in Malang or you want to come back to Malang again and need some help, I will gladly to help you :)

The card you bought from the chain store indomaret or Alfa mart, the card is acceptable for all of the public services and transportation system in jakarta ( one for all ). And you can top up the balance at every indo or alfamart store. My suggestion for you, take the morning train from Malang to Yogyakarta and next from Yogyakarta to Bandung with the morning train next from Bandung to Jakarta also by morning train. If you take the train when you traveling around Java is the best choice, you will be paid with astonishing scenery along the way. Use the app from your cell phone for reservation the ticket. They accepted int' C card. And in Jakarta if you wanna back abroad and the best way is take the airport train from downtown to the airport, to avoid the worst traffic jam.

​​@@OTWD_yt the card can be used not only in Jakarta, but all toll road (national), commuter line train in Jakarta and suburbs/Yogya/solo, BRT buses (most cities, basically all busses that looks like Transjakarta bus), angkot in Jakarta that has Jaklinko logo (angkot is minivan like the one you rode in the beginning of the video), LRT train, MRT train, shopping in Indomaret/Alfamart, parking (check the logo). Intercity train needs separate ticket. Just check the logo on your card and establishments, and ask locals.

While airport train in Jakarta is good, depending on your hotel location and/or your departure time, sometimes it's better to take DAMRI bus, shuttle bus, or taxi. Again, depends on where you live. Always check your departure time, train timetable, etc.

Actually you can also visit some temples in Around Malang, the nearest from town is Badut temple around 6 KM from city hall of Malang. Built in 8 th century. The biggest Hindu budhist temple is Singosari Temple built circa XIiI from Malang city hall around 10Km.

Nah... if you go to Malang, the first thing you should try is Bakso or Bakwan Malang. Nasi padang is originated in West Sumatra and you can get that dish everywhere in Indonesia. But the most delicious Bakso or Bakwan you only can taste it from Malang coz its different

If you go to Malang, then Rawon would be better option than Nasi Padang,. I'm not hating nasi padang, they are good but Rawon is like their mascot, their pride even..so each region have their own speciality so it would be better if you start journey to different area and try their speciality first..nice video btw.. 👍
