Otwock & Jozefow: Rediscovering Swidermajer architecture

As an American, many of the photographs I've seen of Poland show the horrific destruction of the War. This made me happy to see these beautiful homes preserved (even if they are now used for other purposes), so people all over the world can see the taste and skills of the Polish people. Some of my ancestors were from Schleswig-Holstein, leaving in the 1850s for America due to wars and politics. I love learning about the lives of people who lived in the past, and historic homes are a wonderful way to do so. So bittersweet to see the Jewish Cemetery. Thank you for this lovely tour.

I lived there all my life! Many of those villas were burned down or demolished since wooden houses are completely unpractical in the winter... such a shame! Thank God those that survived are now owned by sensitive owners aware of it's beauty and heritage! Thank you very mush for this video!
