The 30K foot view, at the beginning of the season most of us would be just fine with 7-2 with a good opportunity at 10-2. This is the second year into a rebuild that turned out to be more extensive than was expected. We all got greedy, including myself, when OU beat Texas with visions of national championships. Heck the words "best team in the SEC" were even muttered. Considering a makeshift O-line, a running back rotation that changes from week to week, and some key injuries on both sides of the ball, it is not unusual to have a couple L. It's just frustrating Oklahoma could have won both of the last two games.

Both of them in the Big 10, Nebraska has not done anything. Penn State has been there since Joe Paterno, it is still Ohio State & Michigan. OU going into its 3rd year with Brent 2024, with no long history of games with any of the Sec teams, well okay Texas, Texas A&M and Mizzou. In Brent's two years, okay we have 3 regular season games left, but we are spiraling downhill. A wake-up call is coming and it's the SEC, it will not be pretty, when games like Miss State, Vandy, Kentucky, South Carolina, Arkie, will be must win games. I would give him a B, and for one reason only. Jeff Lebby. Those 2 games, they had no business losing. If you are constsntly beating yourself, your going to drop a few, which they have. Those 2 games, on talent alone, its not even close. Those plays that they run that start off 3-6 yds behind the LOS are absolutely ridiculous. Cut those freaking plays out of the playbook. But what I will say is from last year to now, he has proven he can coach. He just needs do tweak a few things things (Lebbys decision making at times).

Good to know your views on faking injuries it's terrible when that happens. Example when Bowman faked an injury in the RRR which killed the rhythm Texas had to put the game away. 😢😢😢

Every team we play seems to scheme us to death but WE can't scheme them. Again, Alan Bowman looked like a Heisman candidate he threw to that OSU WR Owen who must have had 12 catches for 150yds?

It is the perfect time for Arnold to start playing QB. The rest of the regular season games are very manageable. The future starts today to give us a better shot next year.

Sawchuck goes down very easiky. Had a huge run through big hole , dudnt have to make anyone miss. Walker should be the main ball carrier, no doubt.

When will our coach take responsibility for the way they called the game offensively. BV took ownership in the KU game for not calling a timeout on the 4th down play. When Lebby is asked questions his response typically is “We called the right play, we just didn’t execute”. Just say you called a bad game. In the Texas game He called one of the best games of his career. The last two games, he did not. Just own it sir, just own it.

Whats the answer. Is it Lebby, defense cant bail us out every game. The refs didn't help either 3 turnovers cant have it. Then the discipline. Brent talks about that all the time. You cant walk out on the field. He needs a get back guy

Why wasn’t the catch in the end zone for drake stoops not reviewed? I know they missed the pi call. From what I saw looks like he catches it and brings it in as his feet slide out and he holds it with his legs.
@lornesguitarcompany6504 Жыл бұрын
It seems to me that outside of Farooq and Stoops, there is a lack of confidence in our other options. Anderson has shown the ability to pick up key yards but had an off game on Saturday. If you are going to run a real "spread" type offense you have to be able to trust your 3rd, 4th and even 5th options. And it doesn't seem Gabril or Lebby do.

In the short past. I complained about how crappy our defense was. In spite of the weak defense the offense scored enough points to win. Now our offense can't score enough points.

My guess on Javonta Barnes, is not doing his homework, or study for being able to play. I'll believe in Demarco's decision.

If they play Jackson and end up losing another game, the same guys that are calling for him to play will be calling for Lebby and Venables jobs. You can't please all of the fans, some will be pissed if you play him, and some will be pissed if you don't. All you can do is play to win now, and DG gives us the best chance.

Bv and Lebby should be on the block. Out of 24 games if they won the rest of them have lost 8 . At the rate their going is it’s going to o be closer to 12 and 12. They have created any of the difficulties they are facing. If BV is going to be a head coach he needs to act like it. Release Lebby today!!!!!!

We need to get into more 3rd an manageable and need to get Sawchek and Walker more chances to run North and South, they could be awesome 👍

We could be in 3rd & 1, Lebby is gonna call a backward pass.
@alec_f1 Жыл бұрын
Problem seems Lebby is only trying to get into 3rd and manageable with stupid plays short of the 1st down marker. Then, those plays end up being train wrecks for a loss of yardage and it's 3rd and 8 or worse again.
@robbyclark6915 Жыл бұрын
Wait, Lebby didn't call a single QB run Saturday? Just what I've been saying! There is ZERO consistency or identity with this lebby led offense! He's all over the place? Except for 50% or more passes will be behind the l.o.s. Sooners are lost in Lebby land
@Atrox151 Жыл бұрын
You can't just play the carousel game with players on the offensive side of the ball. It messes with their head. No reason to be giving time to those players who we saw for the first time yesterday in a close game that mattered. No reason to pull Sawchuck and Walker out. Coaches should always put the best players out there, but it feels like Lebby is going against the grain of the offense which causes plenty of inconsistency. This doesn't even include the random playcalling. The sooner we get rid of Lebby, the better.

On the Farooq false start, he came in motion and came set across the line of scrimmage. You could see on the broadcast, he had a foot over the LOS.

Oklahoma should not be using a OC train on the job!!!! Lebby did not call the plays at UCF or Ole Miss!! We need a proven commodity at OC that has been tested in game situations! Why is Lebby even considered for this position.. I would also add the debacle with his father-in-law at the home game at OU has convinced me he already has one foot out the door……………..This game reminded me a lot of the last game Lincoln Riley played against OSU. I believe he also had one foot out the door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please get rid of Lebby……………………….

We are horrible in close games. 2-7 in one score games since BV took over. 0-5 last year can be explained away from roster turnover but we should have put away KU and OSU the last 2 games. Lebby has to figure this out or he needs to be gone.

Oklahoma is a 8-4 - 10-2 team. I thought 9-3 would be the final regular season record. With that said I don't think Lebby has what it takes to be a OC right now. He's a training wheels coach and should have never been hired here at this point in his career.
