With 21 players this year, we will only lose 3 to eligibility. Then she (Patty) goes out and recruits a class like this. And that doesn't even consider the transfer portal. Hopefully, several of these players who don't get to see adequate playing time this year will move onto the transfer portal. This looks (on paper) like the best class Ever for the Sooners. WOW!!

I know of at least 4 players that should leave OU, 2 for sure, but I don't know if they will, how does that work, but I think she can have up to 25 players. . Patty needs to get at least 1 pitcher in the portal, next year I don't think montecelly will pitch much, coor is good but she has back problems, za cke needs to really pick up her game , same with helton, k9 will help them I hope

Based on recruiting accolades, this is arguably the best class of any school, of any time. That said, it would take a lot to beat the class that brought in Coleman, Jennings, and May based on production on the field.

This shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that Patty will keep working. Most importantly, the young girls are not only attracted to the process of softball, but the culture process of changing into a so-called girl into a mature young woman!!! I’m sure Patty has expectations for everyone of them, but what I truly believe is she wants to young women in the end to meet their own self expectations?

Great vid as always. I think Agbyani will have highest ba. Another factor to consider is team leadership. You have Saunders, Parker and Pickering to pass on team culture. Dayton and Agbyani with their experience, and a plethora of experienced short stops, who were recruited in part because of their leadership on the field. Other teams will be hard put to match this combo.

Patty is bringing in position players that can pitch and pitchers that can play other positions. After seeing how Patty used her pitching staff in the final game of the World Series, it makes me wonder if she's got a new wrinkle up her sleeve.

OU is highly competitive nationally both with males and females in several sports. The football team was decimated this year by injuries. Big win over Bama. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of all these teams, find another school to support.

Top Recruiting Class, haha, that's why they'll be sitting on the bench and keeping it warm for the transfers, just like the 2024 class. So expect some of them to be transferring out next year. Anybody remember the top recruits Nugent and Erickson. What is my point. When you are getting the top players in the country, why are you backstabbing your Recruits. Recruits are our OU children from conception beginning on a day 1 of the recruiting process, and like parents, we look forward to their birth onto the field. Transfers are adopted runaways because they have no family integrity.

I wouldn't use the word, just another softball school. Oklahoma University is the softball college in the entire country. I'm guessing there are well over a 100 colleges that would like to be considered just a softball college. I wouldn't bet against Sooner footbal returning to prominence. Would be nice to know when it was going to happen.
