Unfortunately I have not tried any Ormonde Jane fragrances though I have had a little look into them so I maybe will get around to trying one or two of them 👍

@@AlpineMontane Yup that's the one. Is it a very sweet scent? because of the tonka bean? Also, do you consider it a gourmand because of the almond note? I'm not a fan of gourmands or overly sweet scents.

@@BeautyofScent This is not overly sweet at all. It would be fair to say it has some elements of a gourmand due to the tonka bean, almond, orange and possibly vanilla. However, it feels like the woods, Leather and vetiver hold it back from being a full gourmand. I think this is why l'homme ideal works so well for me as some sweet gourmands can become sickly after a while of wearing them, not a fan of them. This is so delicate in all its facets and really is a finely balanced fragrance. Longevity on my skin is also very good for an edt. I do not like to recommend fragrances to others due to fragrances being subjective. However, when I first got my nose on this it was inevitable it would end up in the collection at some point. 🙏
