Michael!!! The nurse in me is screaming at my screen “Where are your protective glasses” ? If a sliver of rusted iron ever got into you eye, you’d end up with a corneal abrasion or worse, threaten your eyesight. That would be a pickle of a situation for an artist like you! Take the few extra minutes to use safety precautions like protective glasses, or gloves & an I-95 face mask if products have a TOXIC label. Always err on the side of caution when doing tasks that could cause bodily harm. O.K. Rant over, carry on! ❤️. Your cottage flower garden looks GREAT by the way.

I adore that you are saving the greenhouse and giving it the love it deserves. I think the color you using to paint will look lovely once you get finished and with plants in, much better than boring white or black. Also, your inner artist peeked out when you were describing the smell of the rust inhibitor...not many would appreciate linseed oil and turpentine lol.

Micheal, Wear safety glasses when using the grinder!!! My husband had a bit of the grinder wire break off and go into his eye. I mean it put a hole in his eye! He was very lucky that it didn’t puncture closer to his pupil and a cataract lens replacement saved his eye and his vision.

Oh, Michael, you and Billy are so amazing!! Billy came in and started uncovering the floor in the convent, then you just jump right in and updating the greenhouse and removing huge plants to a pot!! You are both special and I love how you just get going with a project. Your parents taught you well. The garden is just beautiful and I am a bit jealous because I can’t do gardening anymore. When most people "take up the piano", some learn to play very well and some, not so well - but you, Michael also learnt to tune the piano ! Now that you've achieved the written part of having a licence, ask the best driver at the chateau be that your Mum, Sadie ... and after you've learnt the basics - take it next level and pay for a driving instructor. The extra knowledge and confidence will astound you and well worth your money. Be the best driver in the family because everything you SET yourself, you do very well. Should we tell him that when transplanting or moving a plant, you want to prep the location first that it gets moved to, preserve a root ball of plenty of soil around the roots so as not to shock them, and after transplanting to water immediately, and put it in a cool, dark place and keep out of direct sun right afterwards for the rest of the day....all to minimize shocking the plant and giving it a better chance of surviving and not losing all it's leaves if it does survive.
