Previously, we completed the center roof line and prepped for the install of the next ridge beam.
With all of our steel decking on site, we've begun focusing on moving towards the concrete ceiling pour. Each steel plate has been installed which leaves us with the task of moving the steel beams into place, lifting the steel on top of the safe room walls and getting ready to lay the final course of block.

your daughter Ellie is too cute, I grew up in Miami everything is built with concrete blocks and steel it is the hurricane code the toughest building code in this country. I have been involved with several safe rooms and yours looks like it will work fine. house looks great so far. I am a concrete contractor Cultured Concrete, I do decorative concrete concrete art.

I have noticed this the past few videos: their daughter has so many of her moms mannerisms; the way she talks to the animals, her upbeat attitude, etc. And the oldest son sounds so much like his dad that I'm never sure who is actually talking until the shot pans to him. So truly "wonderful"!

This was a nerve wracking video. I don't know what was more dicey, the 20ft ridge beam with Erin and Josh hiked high up ladders. Moving of the beam, with Erin standing between rebar and lifting a heavy beam with no leg help all back, and Josh balancing on the wall and doing the same. Or Josh moving a ton of block and mortar over his head with the lift! I'm glad that's over with, LOL. Whew! Good luck with the last blocks. Stay safe.

I definitely want to live in your small town, the Cafe looks amazing and just the scenery makes my heart smile. However, at 73 I don’t see me relocating from hot Florida, so watching your channel at least I get to experience your world.
