I purchased this bike 1yr ago and I would not recommend it. After 14 months it broke due to electric component failure. Im an avonics specalist with a major airline and so have training and experiance working with electrical components and systems. This is build with cheap parts in China. Specifically the battery terminals and connections are unsafe and will burn which is a mjor safety concern. Mine bike failed and Juiced bikes was even aware of the manufacturing flaw but took no steps to fix it. Please see other youtube videos documenting this dangerous issue.

1. That specific model (shown) also has the seat riser platform attachment. 2. The newest supply of HyperScorpion has an upgraded derailleur and shifter that's not upside-down. 3. The front indicator component is also upgraded. I mention this cause I've had mine (also Black) for about a week now. :)

Anthony Congrats. Researching now and very close to putting the extra cash into a quality, fun, badass bike. Question concerning security, Do you lock the bike to a rack ever? I have a 2-3 hour peroid at work where its going to be outside if I buy one. Do you trust the alarm system plus some heavy duty multi chains? Also, do you feel as though the hyperscorpion will last 3-4 years total, since it was hand picked and made instread of these china cheap-o part bikes i continuelly see at lower prices. Also, how long from click buy until it landed on your doorstep, I'd like to know and thank you for response. God bless.

Green pads E10.11’s and bed them in Juiced has a vid on that. Most put the pads in drive down th road and clamp the bakes, the complain about the squeal. Got 2800 miles before my first flat. These are awesome wit strong side wall so bike is sturdy under weight. I got a 52v 30ah battery in a Pelican Seahorse case on back rack so I should know. Bike has some frame flex but it’s step through. And we’ll that battery is a lo of weight so…I like the bike no problems with 3200 miles.

Cool features I might cope this one. Which one is better hyperscorpion or super73? This scorpion looks completely with signal lights and horn/alarm on. I’m from the Philippines kababayan ✌🏾😃👍🏾

I think most people buy the Super73 for the looks and large riding community. The Juiced has more features for the price and definitely feels like the more "sensible" of the two. If you think you will be doing a lot of upgrades and mods the Super73 is perfect for that. If you prefer to have everything prebuilt and installed for you, the Juiced is a good option.

In Michigan, a Class 3 ebike is street legal which this bike would be classified as on full power.

Arcimoto is making a leaning, tadpole trike, where the pedaling just charges the motor -- it's all pedal-by-wire. That is, Arcimoto will make the trike if they don't go bankrupt.

Hi, really can't say, haven't heard much about or experienced the C3strom bikes. But if you to compare spec vs spec, the HyperScorpion edges out the Astro, in addition the Hyperscorpion is dual suspension and the Astro isn't.

Isn’t class 3 limited to a 750w motor? Making the 1000w not legal technically? Or am I missing something

It’s electronically limited to 750W and 20mph to comply with class 2 and I believe it has a sticker to reflect that. If you live in a state where you are allowed class 3, you can adjust it from the display. Class 3 is allowed where we live in Michigan.

@@RunPlayBack Nobody cares. Here in the UK london is littered with 1000s of delivery drivers on souped up ebikes. 750w plus power. 25mph plus speed. I ride an ADO A20. which is capable of 26 mph top speed with a 500w motor. I've never been stopped. And I live in a country where anything more than a 250w motor and 15.5mph is illegal. It's basically an unenforceable law. So long as you arent tearing up the road on a scooter at 40mph plus. Nobody cares. It's an empty law.
