@@RedRashBallz I said electric motos, but even if it was gas...the equivalent probably gets 80+mpg if not more, making the cost of gas >$10 a month. As for insurance, these SHOULD require it too. @RedRashBallz3 жыл бұрын
@@efenili Oh my bad I didn't read the electric motorcycle part. I'm pretty sure most people that get electric bikes live in urban/city areas. You most likely won't be doing 25+ mph for most of your riding. If a motor vehicle hits you, MOST of the time you can sue for damages if their insurance company doesn't pay for it. If a bicyclist hits a car, more than likely the bike won't be doing significant damage. If the latter happens, I'd rather pay out of pocket than have to pay for insurance (and then subsequently have my premiums go up)

Great job on the video, and being so upbeat made it fun to watch. Both of these bikes are fun, and I've ridden with both of them. However, they are far from the most powerful. Neither has proper geometry for pedaling, though the Juiced is better on this point. The Juiced throttle defect IS serious, and could be fatal in some situations. And speaking of which, you really should be using better safety gear. E-bikes are safer than analog bikes (statistically speaking), with better brakes and stronger frames (and you won't get your front wheel kicked sideways by an acorn), but it's better to be safe because you will be riding an e-bike more than an analog bike. I'm a former marathoner who had eleven bikes at one point, and my one e-bike makes emergency stops far better than any analog bike I've had.

@mouahmong3 жыл бұрын
I disagree. I started with a Lectric XP (500w nominal/800w peak) and a DJ SuperBike (750w nominal/1200w peak). There is a huge (sustained) torque and top-speed difference even when my bikes are in "class 2/3 mode." I now have a Juiced HyperScrambler 2 and a Super73 S2. Keep in mind that "750w" is the "nominal" rating. Many 750w ebikes have a peak of 1000w-2000w power rating. A motor that is rated for 1000w/1200w nominal with 2000w peak will perform much better.

I’ve own my RX over 1 year now. No you do not need blinkers use your hand signals because nobody can see your hand signals nor definitely can they not see blinkers. The stock seat is the most awkward uncomfortable thing ever. I’ve never had two people on my bike they wouldn’t fit plus I’m already 200 so I can’t add anybody over 125 pounds. Yes it’s a hub motor so it makes sense if you go up a 30° grade then it’s gonna be very difficult. Hub motors are notorious for crapping out uphill. I pretty much don’t ever lock up my bike I have a lock, but I don’t trust others unless I’m going to be in and out. most of the time I’ll just take it into the store and wait for somebody to say no. I generally get 20 to 30 miles on my super 73 anywhere from about an hour to three hours depending on my riding style. It’s probably sufficient but it’s going to take you at least three hours to charge up. This can be mitigated a little bit by purchasing an additional 10speed that cost $250 and it’ll probably cost you equal to install it unless you do it yourself. There are fast chargers available from chi chargers. Officially I can’t recommend them because they do degrade your battery but it may not matter so your results may vary. Yes you will constantly go 30 miles an hour and even at 20 miles an hour Karen will tell you to slow down. The bike has four pedal assist modes I use pretty much use position four all the time. This bike has been the best thing. It’s definitely an attention grabber every guy that takes a look at your bike will ask you questions about it. I have got some undesired attention too.
@mouahmong3 жыл бұрын
I own the S2 (same motor as the RX) and a Juiced HyperScrambler 2. The Juiced is able to do 30° from a stop pretty easily. The S2 has the worst torque...I can't wait for S73 to drop the torque firmware upgrade which will supposedly increase the torque for the S2/R/RX by 30%.

As someone whom owns both a motorcycle, and E-bike i can honestly say these things are a money sink. The Super73 comes in at a whopping 3,700 which is basically 1k short of a brand new motorcycle. The pricing on the Scrambler is alot easier to digest but its still grossly overpriced for what they essentially do. When i say i own a motorcycle i dont mean i've been riding for years i literally picked up a FB marketplace special for $2,600 and have put over 17k miles on it, as well i bought an Class 2 ebike for $700 and honestly dont see why these things cost $2k+ i mean if your that overloaded with money and just dont care to have well anything that has actual value to it by all means dump $1,900 more on a bike that can go 8 miles faster than my $700 can go.
