If I had been the one to propose any of those trades for Friday, they would give me a 40.

I don't think Clase has 4th outfielder in his future. I'd trade him for pretty much anyone who can play infield and hit at all.

I like Ty’s side more because it gets France and polanco out of the lineup. Colby still has Ty France playing everyday which isn’t going to work

I hope that Luis is coming to Seattle, but Kopech is finding his feet, sometimes literally, with relief/closing. He is doing better since mixing in his off-speed stuff from his days as a starter, but his control can be a major issue. He’s either a near no-hitter or near tragedy on the mound these days. The White Sox pitched him far too often while injured in the preceding years. He has talent but at this time I would only use him in non-critical situations.

One question.. Salk brought this up... Brent Rooker? I know he is within the division and hate to see ex-Mariners playing against us, but he said he likes hitting at our park... Who says that?

Ty: 50-55 grade - Love the three team deal with the Sox/Bucs + Lowe is a solid upgrade at second if healthy | Colby: 50-55 - Like the idea of Ibanez, prefer trade package with the Sox, I think Dom gets you Conforto but don’t know if Jerry would give up on Dom. Both agressive! I don’t think the M’s would DFA Haniger for what it’s worth. Great show, thanks guys! Go M’s

You guys are crazy. No way they trade the farm for Roberts. You say “who cares about the farm” the mariners team is built with the farm. Imagine if 5 years ago the mariners traded Julio, Cal and Gilbert. We would be horrible now.

Mariners have the best starting 5 in MLB. Mariners have the worst batting average in MLB. The worst part about Mariners baseball, is hearing the broadcast booth roasting starters when they don't throw a shutout.

This team will ruin anyone they get. The analytics department is destroying our offense as they are focusing to much on power creating swing and miss. We need to focus on contact, gettin on base and small ball. Hire A-Rod as new offensive coordinator.

Both of those teams would give them a shot this year!

I know some will disagree with me but if they don't acquire at least one of the biggest names available on the trade market, I would consider that a failure. They have had so many chances to acquire the tier of players this lineup needs over the last few off-seasons, and it seems their reluctance to pay those big names is rearing its ugly head, as last year and so far this year have not been the steps forward we were expecting after that fantastic 2022 season. You're not gonna have a healthy dominant pitching staff like this forever and you need to acquire the bats to get this team into the American league penant conversation now. If you can get Robert, or Vladdy for the next two or three years then no prospects should really be untouchable. Realistically you'll have to be willing to entertain trading a number of our top ten prospects, as there are going to be so many buyers at the deadline. This team has a two or three year window to be among the most intimidating in the American League, and this pitching staff is gives you a massive advantage in a best of 5 or 7 series. Go get a bonafide star to take the pressure off Julio, and acquire two more solid on base type guys and all the sudden this team looks pretty damn good.

I enjoyed listening to your proposals and I give them an A-. I agree 100%, we must get aggressive and not be afraid to trade prospects. I thought it was funny you both went after Luis Roberts. Not sure the White Sox would really be willing to give him up. I think the Marlins, true sellers, may have to be one of our trade partners for Jazz and an arm. Jazz is no Roberts, but he is better than Polanco at 2nd. Need a Beaver on the squad! Can you tell I am an alum?

It probably shouldn't matter much since Julio appears to have turned things around, and he would have a legitimate hitter with power protecting him, but I do wonder if he mentally would become comfortable batting 2nd since he only has a 69 wRC+ batting 2nd this year. I like Colby's lineup where Cal bats either 5th or 6th. I also like Ty's idea of JP not exclusively leading off, unless something changes soon. I'm anxious to see and hope Garver plays much less. He has never played this much, and Sundays poor AB's were telling coming off catching Sat eve and being on short rest.

Is their anyway you think we could get jazz without giving up either Ford, Emerson, Young, Celesten, or Montes? I think our farm system might be deep enough to do it but not sure. Cause to me it also seems the better your farm is the more they want compared to what theyd want from another team with a lesser system
