Hi, I stayed in the Campo de Fiori my first time in Rome. I took my mum and we had a fantastic time. I agree with everything you say. It’s an excellent location, charming rooms and the roof garden takes it to another level. Excellent choice and very good value 👍❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Great info. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of Rome. We stayed in AIR B/B in the neighborhood of Monti back in Feb. Loved it.. Had a roof top patio view of the Coliseum. A little Grocery Store called CONAD really close by and some other cool stuff.... Love you backdrop in this Video- Switzerland?? Thank you for your videos

So many fun and interesting places to stay in Rome. Having a terrace to enjoy is really nice, especially if the weather is good. I had one of the best balconies of all time in Florence one time, but it rained the whole time we were there and it was cold so we rarely went outside, but otherwise it would’ve been great. Monti is a fun neighborhood. Have you ever stayed in Trastevere. A little bit more walking with no metro, but we really like the area. Thanks for watching.

What timing for us. We are off to Italy in September for 37 days and are going to spend the last 4 days in Rome. Been to Rome before and done all yhe big tourist sites. We stayed up near the spanish steps last time so we wanted to go south more. I watch you other video on Trestevere and decide thats where we are going to stay. Book all the other stays and was in the process of looking around and this video popped up. So we looked at Simona Air B&B and its available on our dates so we booked it. Thanks so much for the information.

Location was excellent for us. Main downside is there is no subway near. If you can learn the bus routes, getting around would be easier. 90% of what we wanted to do was within a mile.

Yes we saw the construction. Hotel Campo Di Fiori was the perfect central point for every landmark. Trastevere for the food, Campo for food and drinks, etc.

Hi! New sub! Headed to Rome first week in October for a Mediterranean Cruise. Will fly in on a Saturday morning and there until ship leaves the following Monday. Although with a group on the cruise, I may be flying solo Saturday-Monday. So looking to find a place just for me, things to do solo…best location, reasonably priced…maybe upwards of $180-200/night. Suggestions? Really love your channel, great information!!!

Hello, my wife and I are traveling to Rome and Florence in the fall for her birthday. Thank you for all of the great information, it's our first visit and your videos have been a great help. I am interested in booking Hotel Campo de Fiori, do you recommend a room in the Hotel proper, or an apartment in the annex building?

Hotels are great for short stays, but I typically like having a kitchen.

I like having a room in the hotel for the roof garden. We stayed on the top floor. We bought a tasty selection of nuts in the market next to the hotel and enjoyed them with a glass of wine. You could just pop up the few stairs to the garden area and have your Aperativo 👍 We did that every evening before going out to dinner, the views were fab 😊

Not sure how big a family you have but here is a link to an airbnb that we stayed awhile back with our family. 2 bedrooms but one of the bedrooms has a queen and 2 singles so it sleeps 6, great location.www.airbnb.com/rooms/22337159?check_in=2024-10-13&check_out=2024-10-19&guests=1&adults=6&s=67&unique_share_id=b67cad2f-7682-4295-9580-dc9de8fe3d7b

I am going to give you 1 more option to consider. I am doing a video about it now. As you may have seen Rome can get very expensive especially on peak season on the weekends. I think a great option is to stay in Tivoli. It is a town about 20 miles from Rome and there is a train 1 or 2 per hour to Rome. Train is under 3 euros each way. It is more of a real Italian experience without all of the lines and tourists of peak season. There is lots to see and do in Tivoli but super easy to get to Rome and the cost for AirBnb of much much less expensive. There are lots of great restaurants without the long lines. It is best to spend the mornings in Tivoli and then the afternoon and evenings in Rome or morning and afternoon in Rome then evening in Tivoli. Also in Tivoli there is one of the best AirBnb we stayed in all of Italy. It is 2 bedrooms and cost about 100 euro per night. This one is special.Oh also the train to Rome is about 35 minutes on select trains. Here is a link to the AirBnb www.airbnb.com/rooms/37580592?check_in=2024-05-27&check_out=2024-05-31&guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=a9b3ea9d-9731-4ad0-b513-14e77f217ca6

would like to get the price
@RozierRoma
@RozierRoma 2 ай бұрын
I didn’t put the price because it really depends on the season. It can fluctuate quite a bit from low season high season but online they should be able to give you a good idea if you look up the hotel.

Do you also have something for a family of four that is reasonable?
@RozierRoma
@RozierRoma 3 ай бұрын
For a family of four I would definitely lean towards an Airbnb. Rome has gotten so expensive with all the tourists that it’s hard to find something reasonable in the peak season. My recommendation would be to travel there during the first half of November, second half of February or the first half of March and most places are substantially less expensive by 30% to 50% and sometimes more. Another option if I was going during peak season, I would base out of the town nearby called Tivoli. It’s a great town that is easily accessible to Rome by train. Lots to see and do in Tivoli without all the crowds and when you want to go to Rome, it’s just a 45 minute ride. Lots of choices to stay there for around €100 plus or minus. we really love Tivoli.

For that time of year and that far out you should have some very good options in your budget,. I hope it is OK to self promote for a minute. We just published a Rome travel guide called Rome Travel Guida. There are a ton of things that can really help you with planning your trip and help you while in Rome, I promise. It has only been out for a week and you can check it out at www.RomeTravelGuida.com. Use discount code "GuidaMe" for half off. So from $20 to $10. FYI the guide is not 100% completed but things being added every day. TYhis way you can view it while in progress. Here is a quick video about it.
