In Australia we have what's called Grow Carts!! Where if you have excess produce...you swap it with other ppls produce on a grow cart somewhere in the neighbourhood!! It's a weird idea...but it works!!

It was a video that made me feel comfortable and happy to see the garden decorated and growing plants in the yard because it was so environmental and clear! The process of turning the yard into a garden by myself was so much fun and interesting! I prefer raising small animals as it can contribute to improving the atmosphere.

Hahaha we have 4 hens as well, currently are considering adding another big raincatcher barrel, and potentially raise some water plants and fish there(i need to persuade my partner before doing it though)

you should consider investing in some compost for amending vegetable beds, the soil isnt holding water and straw mulch will not be a long term fix.

my family have this kind of field used as vegetables garden, fish pond, and livestock's cages (goats, chickens, ducks, and soon swallow nest), but tbh i never really helping my dad to taking care of it (lol). i think this vid is reminder to me :,) also, good content though!

I love the garden, but sadly, in our suburban tiny yard, we have so many squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, possums, and skunks, it's pretty much impossible to plant anything without sturdy cages surrounding the beds from top to bottom. I envy people who can grow things in the open! So pretty!

What an incredible harvest! And how fun that you tried so many varieties of tomato. :-) Have you ever had any critters try to dig up the pre-fermented bokashi compost? I've been using the "soil factory" method but might try burying it in a friend's backyard sometime.

I don’t believe we had any critter problem, maybe there are some, we just didn’t notice. We tried The soil factory method as well! Both of our containers are filled with compost now otherwise we will do more !
