I saw a video when you picked that truck up, from everything you explain that's going to happen I think it's going to be a real cool truck 👍✌️🇺🇲

I’ve got them, the tires were just to tall to fit in the wheel wells. I’m going to run some slotted mags I’ve got, I wish I could post a picture in these comments, but they’re in the other video.

There's a guy up in Canada. He is looking for those aftermarket lights. He wants Pacino you don't just want to go out and buy new ones. He has a channel to it's a small one. Might be an interesting way to have little exchange going between your channel on his channel to but that would be up to you two. I'm just a thought

That would be a good swap bet working helps!

@@323Fabrication well if it's okay with you I'll send him a link to your channel and I'll send the link from his channel to you. It'll take me a couple of minutes because I got something else to do sorry. But also I'm not so sure I ever subscribe to his channel. But he's appears to be a down-to-earth Canadian with the Canadian accent that we often hear on the movies. I've Converse back and forth with him just a couple of times nothing like you and I have Converse back and forth over the last month or two whatever it's been here and there. I've already connected a couple other KZbinrs a few other times and they capitalized on each other subscribers. I know my choice word makes it sound bad but hey you know this guy likes this guy and I like the first guy then I'll probably like the second guy his show. And they end up subscribing at least maybe 20%. So if you got another 5200 scribers and he did two from each other's subscriber pool when that being nice or positive kick in the old number? I can't promise anything they're actually. But I like to see things grow when it's something I'm interested in

@@323Fabrication I may be wrong to which side it's on but I think it's on the left hand side of the rear axle tube. It will essentially be molded into the tube and raised lettering and it will say 1957 posi. Capital letters and it's probably an inch or so tall. My son's four-door 57 has that. And you can basically name your price. On a good day 1002 $1,500. Now would you pay that much for one or would I? Speaking for myself I probably would not. Now if I was restoring a car that was going to bring a fair amount of money I would then probably cough it up. I don't restore him to that level for just showing only to resell and I've not done that in a fair amount of time. Now building hot rod sure but if I want to positrack unit there's a much cheaper way to get it. Anyway it's in his car and the only hole in that car as far as rust in the whole car is not a rust hole. The car doesn't have Russ. I mean it's a $5,000 roller for four door post Bel Air. Oh he bought that years ago and we went all the way out to Kansas and he's maybe fourteen. Might have been 12 I don't know that's kind of boy was. Of course I would encourage that activity and we go pick it up on my dime. That's what a dad does. Encourage success and their sons. I thank you have a good role model for that. Rather he would drive 10 hours or whatever to go pick up no four-door 57 or not but just in daily life. Anyway that says I said before it's one of the reasons I like a channel. The hole was cut in for a 4-speed shifter. The carpet had long since been taken out of the car and never put back in. So I would say that's one reason she didn't rust out. The trunk floor fantastic. Sorry I got into it a little farther than I intended. But if it's a 1956 or 1955 I believe they both say the year as well as posi. I know that 1956 does. And if they continue that in the later models I have no idea. But this car was ordered with a positrack rear end. I'm assuming that it was somebody's hot rod to start out with from the factory. Maybe they were pulling a trailer with it but I see no signs of a hitch. Or maybe my son's car was something they were going to use and want positrack because of snow and ice condition. But that doesn't figure because it's not rusted out and it does have low miles. The engine transmission drive shaft is not there. I'm sure they use that for a move to a newer car. Bought it out and Southern Kansas. Couldn't tell you where but I don't recall by remember that a couple of 3 years ago I drove past the Area and said there it is. I was fetching another vehicle at the time. Okay got a little long-winded there on my part. I apologize but you can probably Google anyting that you really want to know about it but I appreciate you letting me share. I've run across a few more 1957 Chevy but a short bed that there wasn't a whole lot left with bringing about three thousand dollars. Those prices have jumped dramatically. And that truck was nowhere near the condition even what was still left on the truck as compared to what you showed on your 8 ft bed. Similar things with the 57 Chevy cars although I think they're dropping off a little bit but at the very least and not flying up in the price range on the lower-end cars. B parts cars are builders parrot I'm not talking about finished cars that just isn't my thing. I found a few more and there's a yard in Southeastern Tennessee. I don't remember 57 Chevys being there but they sure got a lot of stuff from the early sixties and the early 50s so maybe somewhere back there there was some 57. It's in South Eastern Tennessee. I'll look up the link and send it to you if it is something that you would consider driving to if it's not too far from you. I don't know how far you really want to drive but you'd mentioned the Midwest has little far for you.of brown Wisconsin are crushing out a yard so they sold the property and it's an old old yard and it's a mixed bag you can drive up there and find something not rusted out very much. Well worth the trip if the price is right. I can get you the information if you want because I'm going to go get it for myself. Always glad to help an honest man out

Thank you for the info, I’m going to check out an old caddy on Monday. But when I make it to the shop I’ll crawl under the 57 2 door sedan and check out the rear end. I met a local gentleman today with a large collection and made a deal on a good ‘65 short bed with the spare tire mount, I’ll shorten the frame on pickup. And he’s got some ‘57 parts cars I can get some pieces from. Hopefully I can make a video of his collection as our friendship grows.
