Thanks for introducing me to new varieties. I grow about 50 basil plants each summer as my wife loves them. We mostly use them fresh, the Greek column sounds fascinating due to its growth habit. Will defiantly give it a try next season.

That's awesome! Yes, we have a local Italian restaurant owned by Greeks... They come in to our nursery every year to buy the Greek Columnar. They say it's hard to find in this country. Thanks for watching!

Basil overall is an attractive looking plant plus the aroma and taste is really good. I started growing my own, not sure what the name of mine is..I'll have to find out. I really enjoy eating it with my home grown cooked tomatoes! Gives it an incredible flavor.
