I am an American that, after finding your channel, am totally hooked on your reviews. The thorough job you do in supplying information in layman’s terms about the cars you review is awesome. The choice of fun cars you review that are not available in the American market to buy because of over-the-top governmental regulations makes me and my friends so jealous. Lol! As someone who used to work in the parts and service departments of several Toyota dealerships for over 25 years, I was always intrigued by the Japanese Crown and Vellfire models, and wondering why we didn’t have them in the states. I’m starting to see more and more JDM import mini trucks on car carriers coming from the port here in Baltimore, Maryland, so there is some hope. I love what you’re doing and keep up the great work. A loyal subscriber for life.😎👍🏾

It’s not exclusive to the US to have none available models. Us Aussies have so many car brands that do not produce for our market. The US is rightly not allowing the Chinese to control the market and dominate the world market, you guys should be happy about that. We gave away our manufacturing ability many many years ago.

I only buy and drive dual cab utes, IMO that list goes like this: Reliability and Value: Isuzu D-Max Power and looks: Ford Ranger Australia wide parts availability, decent reliability but overpriced: Toyota Hilux Bitumen road manners and also lots of power: Volkwagen Amarok You want a ute and you were dropped on your head many, many times as a child from a great height, onto concrete, but survived: Nissan Navara or anything from China You want to force people you drive past to cover their eyes to prevent permanent blindness: Mahindra

I come from a family of Toyota tragics. My first car was a '66 Crown Station Wagon, followed by multiple others. After having Euros and a few other marques, I think the Crown is calling me back. Excellent review. Thank you guys. I'm keeping my Valiant, but returning to my youth.
I think my wife's 2022 Focus ST flies well under the radar. I haven't seen many around and most people just think it's a regular Focus. I test drove the i30N, Golf Gti, RS Trophy and Peugeot 308 and the ST was the best driving experience IMO. This thing can do crazy things up a windy mountain road, the chassis is just amazing. And even though it's front wheel drive it still has amazing amounts of grip. Fantastic car!

I like your channel. I am into cerebral choices (buying only technically perfect cars, with double digits discounts vs. market price), thus I drive a Mazda MX-5 ND2 RF, a Suzuki Jimny LCV and a Lexus UX 250h. Zero (0) issues in almost 5 years, not even recalls! Happily, I also like a lot their design, not only their best reliability and their low TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). You reminded me so much I also liked the NX, I might go look for a second-hand hybrid one 😉

I’ve been throughly joying ReDriven for a while now, honestly such a brilliant concept and you’ve done a banger job in delivering useful and fun content for all those in the market for great (or possibly shite) 2nd hand cars of the past couple of decades, there’s some properly useful advice, insight and opinions to be had. Good stuff guys and please keep it up! The final commentary on the personal car of the year was particularly close to how I’m feeling at the moment, as an E92 M3 6 spd owner I’ve been taken aback by just how fun and practical an NC 2 MX-5 is on good twisty Aussie roads for the past few weeks. Lots of fun to be had in an MX-5 in the right environment, horses for courses.

Merry Christmas champions. Fair dinkum the most down to earth, genuine, no bullshit car review channel on the internet. If it wasn't for you guys and one of your reviews I wouldn't have fallen in love with the cheap runabout I bought this year --- Suzuki Swift Sport 2007. Keep up the fantastic work and 2024 ya'll hit a million subs without breaking a sweat! Cars I'd love to see -- Alfa 156 or 159, maybe a GTA with that gorgeous 6 cylinder. Have a great one gents 🥳🍾🎄🥂 Car of the year for me --- the MX5 as well. If I could afford a late model I would grab one for sure.

My number one car of the year would have to be the Nismo Note. I just think that that is where the future of hybrid tech should be going. Its such a great idea and yet nobody has been doing them really. Thanks for the vids this year guys. Suzuki Alto Works, I live in Japan and own this model, Definitely one of my most favourite cars I've owned and I can't see myself selling it. Great channel, great blokes and great content. The best Suzuki was the sierra….i picked on up in 2003 for $2500 and it was a beast on the beach and you could go full commando mode by removing the doors and folding down the windscreen. It had its mechanical issues but was cheap and easy to fix and so much fun, like a Labrador puppy 😂😂😂 absolute death trap which was its downside. The jiminy just doesn’t have that vide, who wants a hardtop like every other car.

You can buy crowns much cheaper in NZ. 2012 Hybrid with 100,000km for about $14,000 NZD. A huge percentage of cars on the road here are imports which makes them cheap and there are heaps of them on the road.
