I am an American that, after finding your channel, am totally hooked on your reviews. The thorough job you do in supplying information in layman’s terms about the cars you review is awesome. The choice of fun cars you review that are not available in the American market to buy because of over-the-top governmental regulations makes me and my friends so jealous. Lol! As someone who used to work in the parts and service departments of several Toyota dealerships for over 25 years, I was always intrigued by the Japanese Crown and Vellfire models, and wondering why we didn’t have them in the states. I’m starting to see more and more JDM import mini trucks on car carriers coming from the port here in Baltimore, Maryland, so there is some hope. I love what you’re doing and keep up the great work. A loyal subscriber for life.😎👍🏾

It’s not exclusive to the US to have none available models. Us Aussies have so many car brands that do not produce for our market. The US is rightly not allowing the Chinese to control the market and dominate the world market, you guys should be happy about that. We gave away our manufacturing ability many many years ago.

Thanks for a year full of informative reviews and entertainment. The way Redriven is headed, I can only imagine 2024 is going to be even better if it is even possible. Thanks Adam, Jim and all the hard workers behind the lens!
I think my wife's 2022 Focus ST flies well under the radar. I haven't seen many around and most people just think it's a regular Focus. I test drove the i30N, Golf Gti, RS Trophy and Peugeot 308 and the ST was the best driving experience IMO. This thing can do crazy things up a windy mountain road, the chassis is just amazing. And even though it's front wheel drive it still has amazing amounts of grip. Fantastic car!

I’ve been throughly joying ReDriven for a while now, honestly such a brilliant concept and you’ve done a banger job in delivering useful and fun content for all those in the market for great (or possibly shite) 2nd hand cars of the past couple of decades, there’s some properly useful advice, insight and opinions to be had. Good stuff guys and please keep it up! The final commentary on the personal car of the year was particularly close to how I’m feeling at the moment, as an E92 M3 6 spd owner I’ve been taken aback by just how fun and practical an NC 2 MX-5 is on good twisty Aussie roads for the past few weeks. Lots of fun to be had in an MX-5 in the right environment, horses for courses.

Having driven multiple generations of the MX-5 I have to say that car is the king of fun even if it is technically much slower than the Z06's, GT-Rs, and Porches that I have driven. Good steering feel, good break feel, top down, winding the hell out of it's engine, all of that makes you feel more connected to the car which is wild fun on any winding back road.

You can buy crowns much cheaper in NZ. 2012 Hybrid with 100,000km for about $14,000 NZD. A huge percentage of cars on the road here are imports which makes them cheap and there are heaps of them on the road.

As an automotive detailer, I’ve never seen a more worse put-together car than that same generation RR Sport. They’re great to look at, the ZF gearbox is the highlight that ties together the driving experience. As for the Crown - good condition ones are in abundance between $15-$20k. Cheap Lexus GS350/H As for parts, panels are getting easier with everyone importing them now the driveline is Lexus IS/GS, so no problems whatsoever to find any part you need.
