Strick you're a mad bugger, but glad you got back in one piece with the beloved Salty Dingo. I've introduced my dad who's an old salty scuba diver of 82 now to your channel & he's loving watching your adventures. As a kid we grew up doing lots of trips in a volkswagen Kombi campervan towing a little 10.5" tinny all over the place into some pretty rough places at times & not quite living of the land, but enjoying the many things we did catch & all the fun places we went. Your trips remind me a bit of my own adventures growing up & I know my dad feels the same. Stay safe & look forward to the new channel content.

It’s a fact that life isn’t without taking a few risks here and there but that one was a little extreme . That can happen to some who have that ‘ brave. ‘ trait not thinking before acting but we also grow by making mistakes . I saw you guys upgraded by getting a bigger boat 🛥 so lesson learned . Beautiful couple ! Looking forward to seeing more of you two .

My kind of adventure! Such a wild ride. If you had not jumped overboard, would you have looked back at the moment with regret for the rest of your life and known that you didn't have the courage to do it? So much of adventuring is really about testing our limits. Seems you have not found yours yet!

My First comment only referred to the first minutes of this presentation. I didn't expect what came next. So glad the entire crews made it back safely. I can clearly recall rough conditions a bit more extreme off Port McDonald just over the Vic. border into SA. 50 NMs off shore on the Continental shelf. The wind changed against the sea. We looked up at the mountains of water breaking over the top of our boat which went into free fall until we hit the trough, repeatedly. 6 to 8 knots was too fast as we struggled to keep the vessel upright. hours later we made it into calmer waters where we could just get up onto the plane. My knees were jelly when we made it into harbour safely. Never again I said out loud. Local Fisherman said they lost a lot of people out there who disappeared with only their trailer and vehicle waiting and waiting.
