Awesome video as always Nick and congrats on going sub 2m. I absolutely love seeing you driving and developing your car - it is a highlight of my day when you drop a video. It must be the most developed FWD A3 8l in the world. Can't wait to find out what was next this season and what developments you are doing over the winter. Hope to see you and Josh battling for the title next year.

Could you do a vlog explaining about the car the engine suspension exhaust wheels gearbox interior because I’d love to get into the sport but it would be cool to get a break down from you and what it takes to get where you are cheers

Well done, Nick. As someone said below, love the overlays, particularly the brake and throttle gauges.

Certainly a power circuit , so will suit car well. Use power down the long straights.

Superb stuff as always Nick, that Honda is quick off the line and out of the corners - your car looks a gazzillion times better though! Is the Honda lighter than your car? Looking forwards to the off-season videos, love seeing the car develop and the overall package get dialled in after each garage session 👍

Thanks mate. The Honda is around 100kg lighter than the A3 sadly, on the same tyres. It certainly shifts! Hope we can keep up some winter content for you :)

@@TeamPrawnRacing Blimey, that is a lot of weight shaving/saving if you wanted to reduce the difference - be hard pushed to get even 10% from the usual 'low hanging fruit' like wheels, battery and fuel tank.

That Civic has great grip levels, you have a better straight line speed. He wins time in the corners. So i was wandering, are front and rear bumper cannards allowed? If so, it would help a bit with downforce. As per suspension wise, i dont know how its set up, but from my experience, having a soft anti rol bar in front, hard in the rear, low front, higher rear suspension, the rear suspension a little softer than the front, and the rebound and inbound on the front a little stiffer than the rear would give you a good front end grip. Maybe u can go to a track day with ordinary street cars, and use that day to try a lot of different setups to the suspension.

Nice one. Watching it back do you feel you could have braked later into some corners? Not sure of the corner name but you let off the accelerator quite early at the II board and coasted before braking.

Gimme a time stamp man, I'll watch it back and give you my feedback 😊

Great pace not much to do with Josh. Looks like a fair bit of front understeer and jumping in the high-speed corners, thought about increasing the front rebound.

If I'm totally honest I don't really know where we're going regards fine tuning the damper setup. We've made some good steps recently wkth different spring rates and the cars reelly come alive, but I can tell we havnt got the damping quite right currently.
@vombsmotorsport2 ай бұрын
totally understand, damper tunning is really hard, and it can be track and weather-dependent on top of it all.

Josh is just faster on corner entrance , speed in the middle looks very simular from the on board, looks like the Audi is a bit quicker in a straight line. Either way makes for some great video of what has to be one of the best series in this country right now.

I love the 'bellend' of Snetterton. Probably a bit too much to be honest.
