What a treat for a Friday evening, a perfect start to the weekend with a TPR video and a cold beer! Those Astra vans can move too. My brother had one and it was surprisingly capable... That puff of smoke from the bonnet at 152mph was a horrible thing to see though. Was that related to the power steering?

What steering pump do you run out of interest and how do you control it?

Just a question, I saw your harness straps point downwards in the trunk. Should they not be placed horizontally with you shoulders? Just wondering, I'm about to order a HANS device and fit 4 point harnesses myself. Cracking video as always!

Hey man 👋🏻 harnesses to go the harness bar on the cage behind the seats. They're approximately a 12-15 degree angle downwards. FIA dictate 0-20 degrees down as ideal with a max of 45 degrees down. Never upward at all. If you havnt ordered harnesses yet, I'd strongly recommend you to 6 point. So much more comfy!

Is the aem pump water/methanol injection? Do you have to be careful of rules with that?

It is a WMI system, although we've only used water in the system now for several years just to aid inlet temps
