As an old codger having been in full time employment for 15 -66 I never had down time and now health issues. I am so envious that you are able to achieve this and all your other adventures so young and free. Anxiety is understandable when alone. You are responsible for ever decision. I know how that feels and when you do anything alone it’s harder. Balance it with the people that would give their right arm to do your adventures especially at your age. Love the series and excited for this trip😊

I am very lucky to be able to do this. I remember sitting at my desk one day working and thinking that I could work from anywhere so why am I sat at home? So I bought my caravan. I thought that if I didn't take the opportunity to do it now, I probably never will. Thanks so much for watching and following us along on this adventure.

Always used to get nervous before our caravan holidays, think it was because so many things could go wrong and once you’re away you lose control of where vehicles can be repaired and 4 kids! 2 months and 16 sites - you need a sign on your van saying you do driveways and gardening😉

Really enjoying your videos and love young Winston. We took our Turtle on a 3 week break to Scotland a couple of years ago, annd reminds me of this trip, we stayed at Delamere Forest on the way back, and your Winter video there brought back happy memories. Highly recommend Glencoe caravan and camping site, some great walks for Winston. Good luck with the trip...!

We stayed at Glencoe caravan and camping club site last year when we did the NC500 and had a great time. We hiked the Pap of Glencoe 👍🏼 This was before we started vlogging our adventures. Glad you enjoyed our video. Thanks so much for watching and commenting 👍🏼🙌🏼

@@Roz.S Our little Jack Russell did the Pap too loved it unfortunately being of a certain age with arthritic knees I was unable to attempt it. Partly why I am enjoying watching your adventures. Stay safe.

One tip about the bike and being concerned about the overhang - you could loosen the stem bolt slightly and rotate the handlebars 90 degrees. Tighten it back up and leave it that way until you need to use your bike.

That’s a great suggestion. Thanks very much 👍🏼

Looking forward to your upcoming vlogs. Love seeing your subscriber and viewer tallies rising. Hopefully this might lead to you being able to be a full time you tuber…and possibly treat yourself to that lovely compact 2 berth 😊 I’m also relieved to learn that you also get pre-trip anxiety, you described how I also feel! (Although on this weeks camping trip I realised an hour into my drive that I left behind my pillows and my dog’s bed. I’ve ended up with a rolled up towel as a pillow and Tilly dog got a hoody to sleep on. We’ve managed and I am far too tight to shell out for a pillow and a dog bed for the sake of 5 nights!) I’ve just walked Chee Dale. Heartily recommend it if you’ve not done it yet.

Thank you so much for following our adventure! There are worse things to leave behind than a pillow and dogs bed, and you made do 👍🏼 and it only added to the adventure. I’ve not done Chee Dale before but it is in my list. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel 🙌🏼

I get where you’re coming from with pre trip anxiety. I’ve been adventuring for 20+ years and still get a bit anxious. The same things as you: Should I bother? Have I forgot something? What if I breakdown (mentally😁or mechanically). The only regret I have though, is not when something goes wrong, it’s when I don’t go on the trip at all. P.s. I love the worlds biggest post it note with your reminder about the bike being on the roof of Dory😂

Staying home also requires a lot less effort 😅😅 I need that sign because I am the type of person to forget about the bike and take on a low bridge 🙈 Thanks for watching and following on with the adventure 👍🏼

Glad you got over your initial nerves & hope you will thoroughly enjoy your trip. It's perfectly normal to be apprehensive but you obviously want to do it more than you don't want to do it (if that makes sense) Please don't overlook the fact that you possess a quality which many people do not...the ability to be alone. So many people find it impossible to embrace solitude, even for a version very short period of time; it's as if they're scared to be alone with their own thoughts!
@Roz.S5 ай бұрын
I love to be alone 😍 …it’s the ability to be social that I’m lacking 😂 I also find travelling to be better when done solo. I notice more and can experience things fully. Thanks so much for watching my video 👍🏼

Thanks for sharing this one,very enjoyable. Now i don't feel so bad when i nearly talk myself out of going on a trip. In fact, i have done just that a couple of times in the past,and felt ok about it, until the next day,then felt stupid. Really looking forward to following this adventure. All the very best of times.
