Your legs looks fine 🤔 white shoes, on a mud trail, on the other hand 😂. Great video Roz! Watching you and Winston going about everyday stuff is so entertaining - no need to change anything. I enjoyed the biking this time - made me want to get out myself - my bike has been gathering dust in the back of my camper most of this year! 😤 You've inspired me. A tip for you - you should be able to stop the brakes squealing by adjusting the rubber blocks. They need to be set slightly "toe in", ie. the front slightly closer to the rim than the back - about 1mm difference. To do this just loosen the nut holding the blocks in and then they can be adjusted. I hope this works 🤞 Looking forward your next installment. Andy

Hi Roz. Especially enjoyed the last few videos where you are at Laxdale, Stornoway. My wife and I arrived on the Saturday you were there - it is our car you can see arriving and parked at the static caravan behind your pitch. I know what you mean by the site having a "carpark" feel to it though we enjoyed our week stay there, I think we picked one of the better weeks weatherwise to be on Lewis. Hope the rest of your trip went well, I will continue watching and look forward to each episode.

Hey Rozzy, I’ve crashed my bicycle a couple times and my palms take the brunt of the injuries. You naturally put your hands out to lessen the fall. The gravel or pavement takes chunks out your palms. Recommend gloves 😊

Hiya Roz and Winston.Good to see you enjoying yourself Roz. That bike ride looked hair raising from every angle! Thankfully you survived unscathed. Never worry about cooking and eating being boring.I think us humans are generally nosy about other people's habits. I'm a bit jealous you can eat those cakes without gaining an ounce but you do burn it off with the exercise you and Winston do. Safe travels. See you on the next.
@Roz.S4 күн бұрын
I can only eat like that when I'm out on adventures; I tend to lose weight when traveling because Winston and I are doing something active most days. I would not get away with eating 4 cakes in 1 day at home though 😂😂🙈 Thanks for watching 👍🏼
@Panzerman19514 күн бұрын
No way that I would tackle those trails! 30 years ago perhaps 😂! I'm more concerned now, more than ever, of breaking bones. The scenery though is breathtaking. One if our neighbours, a police woman, goes in for "iron man" contest and some of her events are just crazy. The one thing that we both like about Stornoway is their black pudding. Stay safe.

Thank you for making these videos. I've been off work with covid and watching them has made me feel less stuck inside. Pretty much binge watched them all at this point- Winston is the bestest boy! You've probably already had it pointed out but I seem to recall being told that squeaky cycle brakes come from a misaligned rubber not hitting square on. Just in case the squeaking was annoying you. 😊 Your determination and resilience is inspiring, thank you for sharing your adventure.

Fantastic video Roz! Thoroughly enjoyed the bike ride with you. I can’t do that, or very much else anymore (spinal cord injury), so I very much enjoyed the experience through the lense of your camera. I enjoy watching you cook. I’m American, so we don’t eat quite the same different foods and all that, so it was interesting for me. To be honest, those gorgeous cakes would have lasted one day with me as well. Offroad biking is always a lot of fun ! I have been fixing my own bikes for more than 50 yrs and I'm pretty sure your squeeking takes about 5 minutes to fix if you still have it, bike looks brand new so you need to adjust the position of the pads 😀you only nees a 5 mm unbraco key / bit, and loosen the brakepad a little, reposition it ( both sides front and rear ) for perfect contact to the rim !
@gberish6024 күн бұрын
Hi Roz, As you say, a squeak fest, but probably better than a bell. I'll let you off the not going back for the camera bit, I'm sure there must be a proper name for it. Well you sure were alot happier than in a couple of videos ago, we like happy Roz ☺️. You mentioned repetitive-ness, I bet most commenters will say they don't care, that's true life. Part of me would have loved to have seen you looking around town but I understand. Toilet block was clean and interesting, never seen door rods to keep everything vented. The laundry looked clean and top end gear, so I suppose if you get your gear back quicker and drier it's worth paying the extra quid or two. Glad to hear there is still plenty to come. Cheers Graham

I hope your return trip includes some of Hadrian's Wall and, best of all, Lindisfarne. I've ridden the causeway at low tide and would love to relive it via your camera.
