Mature Muley Bucks Batchelor up most of the year. Typically Twins or 1 Mature & 1 immature buck are together. There are a thousand stories about I shot the buck & a giant appeared & got away. Big bucks always appear to be traveling somewhere with purpose & will always be the first off of their feed ground & last out to feed. I love the dark colors of horns when bucks have been living in old burn scars. I have harvested a few now and they’re always fatter than a tick with dark chocolate brown horns!

Awesome hunt! That’s kind of how I got my one and only mule buck. He was bumped by other hunters that went in super early (I was late to the gig). Had the same type of standing shot. Pure luck. Sometimes last one in = first one out 😆
