This video was fun and Lia's extroversion really comes out. It seems to me that Joel is much more an introvert. Of course, since he lives around extroverts, he becomes more extroverted, but it's always a chore. I was in a career that required a lot of extroversion and most people didn't know that I am actually quite introverted. I leave social gatherings exhausted, unlike Lia who seems to thrive on social interaction.

I think my initial impressions of y'all were pretty spot on lol. Also - I always say "you can't complete someone until you complete yourself" which doesn't necessary attach a time to it, because if you're like Lia who feels comfortable in relationships - that's great! Move on at your own pace! Like Joel I am also probably a bit TOO loyal to where even after the breakup being with someone else feels a bit like cheating... I need a large amount of time to deal. I have suffered with hyperhydrosis all my life. My hands sweat uncontrollably. As a child and teen it was horrible. I was never able to hold a girl's hand growing up. Shaking hands with anyone was very embarrasing. I can literally "will" my hands to sweat so bad they will just drip. It's awful!!

I am decisive and can make decisions for people who need it. I also kind of pride myself on being a good gift giver, because I feel like I am good at figuring out what people want. Not everyone can do that. For example, my brother always tried to gift my dad expensive tech stuff, when we all know my dad hates tech. Or my mother would give me gold jewelry when she knows I don't wear much jewelry, and when I do, it's usually silver. So some people just don't want to learn about people. And I try to do that. But then I also know bossier people than me too, who always insist on making decisions for me. And I'm okay with that too. It's all relative.

People only need to make sure they can be fine on their own if they have emotional trouble with it, or they get into bad rebound relationships. If it isn't causing you any trouble, don't worry about learning to be okay on your own. For me, I've always been perfectly fine on my own but maybe might need to learn how to be fine in a relationship. I need a lot more alone time than most people and that has bothered some of the people I've dated. I probably need to reduce my need for alone time when in a relationship. Although really, I don't have any desire to be in one at the moment so that'll have to wait a while!

@@Sydneysider1310 I don't feel the same. She isn't messing up her life so that isn't alone. She seems to be able to select partners that add to the value of her life, rather than detracts from it. You would be right in general but I think one should take into account specifics from an individual. For what it's worth, I feel a bit down when I leave the company of people who are truly important to me, and I'm pretty high on the "I prefer to be alone" scale.

Lia & Joel have hearts of gold & I'm afraid the wrong people will take advantage of that. I've been doing a lot of research this last 4.5 years and can see a lot of red flags. Too many ppl out there prepared to take advantage but when you're young you can be oblivious. There's good in everyone - right? Wrong. I learnt that later than I wish I had. All the best...

The way me and my man handle the "Where do you want to eat?" question is whoever is asked first HAS to decide, though we are also conscientious of what the other doesn't like (for example I can't handle Taco Bell or Taco Johns because everytime I eat there I end up with heartburn). If one of us is feeling particularly indecisive then we have to at least give the other three choices.
