Hi, I just got these blinds as well for our RV and I am wondering if you guys just used the screws and bracket that it comes with?

I am thinking of putting roller shades in my RV. How do you know where the wall studs are? i have aluminum wall studs.

Hey @Fattie our roller shades are actually attached to the wood accents we have around our windows. And in the front of the RV they are actually attached into the wood cabinets above the dashboard. So to be honest we haven't attached any of them into the walls. If you are going to take that approach though I'm not entirely certain you'd have any aluminum studs in the right places, so you might what to think about using anchors in order to add more strength to the screws you'd need to use. Anyway, I hope this helps at least point you in the right direction.

Mountain Modern Life yeah, I will for sure use some anchors once my roller shades arrive. Damn Covid-19 delaying my order.

Hi, do you have a way to secure the shades when they are pulled down? We like to travel with the shades down in our fifth wheel trailer to keep it cool inside and without a way to secure them at the bottom, it seems that these might just fly around all over the place. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Hey +Emily Geib. We actually haven't had any issues with ours flying around. We do put them all down while we're driving but they seem to stay in place. The only time we've had an issue with any of them is when we don't have the ones in the front rolled all the way up. By ones in the front I mean the ones on the driver's and passenger's sides and the windshield one. If we don't have those rolled all the way up they will make noise (I need these ones up while I'm driving :)) but as far as the ones in the living space of the RV they seem to ride pretty smooth while I'm driving. I hope this helps.
