This is really annoying and a huge set back for our renovation project! There are so many projects you have to juggle when you are working on a complete home makeover. And it's especially a challenging (but fun) project when that makeover is happening on an island! Some DIYs are small and some renovation projects are massive! You have to know when to do it yourself and when to make a team. We hit a major snag today with our before and after because of some drama with a team member. That's not stopping us from finishing what we can as we reveal the most gorgeous new rug, a beautiful sink and faucet setup and some helpful tools to go along with it, and we reveal the stain selection for the primary bathroom sink DIY driftwood shelf. So many moving creative parts, so much beautiful material and so much to do!

It's reassuring in comparison to other KZbinrs with kids who use them for content to have him casually walking around and being curious about what his parents are doing. Even just in this clip alone with him asking about the water filter, Joey explains it in a way Moon can understand and Moon begins to make jokes about it while also learning about how it works. Fills my heart.

This happened to my parents recently. The builder ran off to Australia with thousands of my parents money. They couldn’t afford to sue and couldn’t actually locate him to take any legal action. We didn’t have a kitchen or a back room for 3 years. Winter was extremely freezing and the house was unsafe, we were so worried about break ins. This will be the first year we have a kitchen for Christmas in 4 years and our house is still under renovation:( the kitchen is not completed and the back of the house still has walls ripped out. But hey at least we have a working kitchen and a back door finally!

I know how you feel ! When we were renovating our home bc it was time, we ordered our windows stateside bc I was very picky about the frame work. I wanted so refined white French window style & white shutters for protection from typhoon weather that goes with living in the Pacific region. We gave a deposit to start the order & it will be delivered in two months. It took 6-months to wait & they kept giving us the round around. I was tired of the boards closing the open windows from rain & hot weather living in those conditions. So we had to go local which I didn’t quite liked & was not define as stateside windows, ugh ! 😬 but after all the windows withstood typhoon winds & rain when it came … 💨💨💨💦🌊🌊🌊🏝️

For the open space plan, could you do a sort of mezzanine as the play area for the child and toys? That will double the space and you can keep the adult stuff separate from the playing area. The mezzanine should be able to be dismounted in the future once they grow. Methinks 😊

People make stained glass at home all the time as a hobby! Soldering takes some practice, but it’s not hard to get the hang of! I would love to see you design a stained glass piece (or a series of panels maybe?)
