I feel like if you go with the lighter bed option with white bedding it’ll look really feminine in the space but if you go with the black bed option and green bedding, it’ll be more gender neutral because you’ll have a masculine element and the feminine element from the walls

I love that you let Moon take a week to decorate the tree. We would help my mom and she would “fix” everything we put on. So we let her decorate it by herself after that and she was unhappy no one helped. That’s what happens if you don’t exercise patience with your kids. Happy holidays 🎄

My vote is for the parchment bed with light bedding. I personally like my bedroom to feel light and airy so I feel more relaxed. Plus that color combo would really let the rug pop and be the statement in the room. Had you done the green lime wash (maybe for another room??) my vote would be the black bed frame.

I like the lighter bed/ bedding for that room. It lets the outside view and greenery pop, and the peach makes it blend right in, plus the peach casts a beautiful glow on the skin. Serene sleeping in a warm and lovely space. Darker would take away from the natural environment. Darker would still look good, just not my preference in this instance.

Oh my goddess I painted my bedroom a lite sandstone 11 years ago! And the ceiling too! It was the most embracing calming color. Watching this was so nostalgic to me. I lean towards the parchment bedframe due to your environment. Black wouldn't work it catches the eye, and in a bedroom, I like calm. That shelf is a stunner. Maybe consider those pipecovers for the sink drains. Peace ❤

I vote for the parchment bed. I love the chill feel of the room already and I think the parchment would just add to that relaxed mood. We're decorating our sitting room. Well we're reclaiming and decorating our sitting room. Was full to capacity and unused. All clutter almost gone and walls being painted as we go. It's manic but it's coming there. Heading back to it now to put 1st coat of paint on chimney breast and it's 12:30 am here and I hope to be still up in 3 hours and able to put the 2nd coat on then before bed. Late nights and long days and we're working like trojans. Seeing Joey get the neck massage there I thought "oh man yes. That's just what's needed here too". Thanks for the reminder. It looks like the room is straight out of a Tuscan villa or something with that wallpaper covering the walls and ceiling. It's quite bold! I think the parchment finish bed would be good there, because there's already a huge amount of colour coming from the wallpaper, I think the black would seem a bit "heavy." But I know I am definitely more conservative in vision than Kate and if she thinks black will look great it probably will! :) Love that driftwood shelf, too.
