One of the post office's most senior managers, Angela van den Bogaerde, faces big questions today at the inquiry into the Horizon IT scandal, which saw the lives of hundreds of sub-postmasters totally devastated by allegations of theft and false accounting.
Katie Downey, daughter of Tony Downey, one of the victims of the Post Office scandal, leads the 'Lost Chances for the Children of Subpostmasters' campaign, which seeks to support children affected by their parents' wrongful convictions and financial devastation.
She explains what she wants to achieve with the campaign, alongside two other children of victims of the post office scandal Rebekah Foot and Fraser Holmes

The children of the falsely convicted, prosecuted, made to pay money for supposed "shortfalls" sub-postmasters ABSOLUTELY NEED TO RECEIVE COMPENSATION. MOST of that compensation needs to come straight from FUJITSU! IF Fujitsu is bankrupted in the process it would be some justice.

For Nick Wallis, please read Investigative Journalist Extraordinary. His doggedness and determination continues to keep this deeply shocking affair at the forefront of so many people's minds. Never in the field of British miscarriages of justice, has so much been owed, by so many, to so few. Wallis is among those few and deserves a great honour for his services to investigative journalism, van den Bogerd deserves to be in prison. Write about those few to the King - I have!

Angela van den Bogaerde needs to be held to account like many of the Directors & others who contributed to the cover up & have been caught out lying. Politicians have been talking about prosecutions - the Post Office didn't think twice about prosecuting people who claimed innocence, so let's hope our justice system applies the same

At my post office, the post mistress, stole money from me twice, the first time was £250 and then £30 I have googled for the telephone number for head office, i even rang another post office and they were unable to find a number for head office, when i confronted her she returned some of my m9ney but not all, my concern is how many other people has she short changed, we have a lot of elderly people in the village i live in and they use the same post office.

Just to put my two pennorth in, the 'foreign' company may be partly at fault, but it was the _British_ post office that showed extraordinary levels of corruption in covering things up, blaming other people, and doing everything possible to avoid accountability. It isn't exactly a pedestal to shout about national pride from, is it? (oh, and it's spelled 'abroad')
