We were in the dairy business until I was 17 years old. When I was 15 me and my two neighbor friends that were younger than me, one being a girl, had 250 square bales of hay to haul and stack in our barn from around 15 miles away. I drove to and from the hay field Then I had the girl drive while we loaded the truck. We worked until 12:30 am that night but we got all the hay moved and put away. We had some cattle on another farm near by so I had to start driving on the roads at a young age so my dad could tent to more important things on our farm.

Enclosed Breezeway is standard reference here. Snow stops are a must if you only accumulate two feet on roof. Would imagine might be useful if you have to climb to shovel off. Its not common to have here in our province. The cracking is deafening as it slides and refreezes when to sun falls. Looking great and glad you figured out a barn space before September. Have you noticed our drought cycle shifted by 30 days? July is never wet here and we are floating away.

Growing up I lived on a 30-acre "gentleman's farm" with eight very tame cows and a horse. My parents sold their business when I was 12 and Dad went on the road with an uncle doing long-haul, coast-to-coast trucking. Getting the hay bales picked up and into the barn fell to my mom, younger sister, and me. I also recruited friends which made it a lot easier. I'm 69 years old and those are fond memories.

The build is really coming along nicely. I had to laugh when you said Nevaeh called some FRIENDS to help with the hay. I remember when I was a teenager, my neighbor would ask me to help with the hay. "She" also was very attractive, and her friend where all boys that came to help. No farm girls! You women are all alike, poor boys don't have a chance. Just SMILE and laugh, we will do anything. Ask Jeremy, it works on him. YES my love, as you wish! It also helps if you are a GOOD cook, but that comes later. Be safe working on the siding, it looks like the both of you feel more at ease up high. That could be dangerous on two story buildings. SAFTY, SAFTY, SAFTY!!!👓🎧♾

Nice of Nevaeh have her strong friends come over to help with the hay bales. Kenji and the sheep through the video is an extra add on that is so cute. Khaimani and the boys stacking hay bales was a real help to Melissa and Nevaeh. Jeremy showing some PDA to Melissa was so romantic! Kerah practicing horse tricks is so good. And Melissa you are right getting moving is the first step on any journey. I remember faith is the essence of things hope for and the evidence of things not yet seen. A vision started it all in in your move to Idaho and look how far you have come and so it is with the children living and learning will get them to where they should go and be at. Excellent role models Jeremy and Melissa are to your four kids. Have a blessed week and keep on making progress on the garage and apartment plus all the other stuff you have going on. I get tired just thinking about it but you yunguns have the strength and energy to help get it done.

The snow guards are a great addition to your roof, and to the safety for your family and pets! Every slanted roof here in Switzerland has snow guards, and I can't imagine living in a snowy area without them! Every spring, we can hear the sheets of snow sliding on our roof like mini avalanches - until they hit the snow guards and come to a stop!
