I would add camera's and sensors across the whole grid of his land. So if any movement or human bodies are detected then the tech will catch it by way of video and sensors and send a notification to his smart phone, computers and tablets in his house and he can even hook it into his security systems also if he has one.

Kevin, it strikes as being odd that your neighbor said he was applying LIME to his hay field??? Years ago my first husband and I had a "lime" business. We lived in SW Iowa..corn and soybean country along with hay fields. He was never asked (nor did he ever) apply lime to a hay field. After the corn and soybeans were harvested farmers would ask for their soil to be tested in order to determine if it was lacking in any nutrient. Corn particularly sucks soil nutrients. Hence farmers would rotate their crops from one field to another, etc. and let certain fields lay dormant for one season until the soil was treated and back in good condition. NEVER, EVER did we apply lime to a hay field. Makes no sense. Lime was only applied to bare soil..not the actual crop. I truly think that you should look further into this. I think he fed the lady a load of BS and she bought into it.

Totally agree- a pool if maintained properly should not have mosquitoes - I have bromeliads around my house and not many mosquitoes- James Cook University came to a Bromeliad Society meeting at my place and they said mosquito wrigglers die off because because the Bromeliads create a hormone that kills off the wrigglers - worth having these plants to get a natural eliminator or cut down of mosquitoes - I had at least 3000 Bromeliads at my previous house and never had a mosquito problem 👍🏿🇦🇺

Catnip would be great to keep mosquitoes away. They hate it! It causes them pain. Your bees will love the catnip when it blooms. Cleo will love it. You can also make catnip tea. Narcissists excel at making great first impressions if it benefits them. All of those theories you mentioned are entirely possible.

I think I've been watching your channel for almost 3 years. I love it. Just started watching your wife channel as well. My dad married a wonderful woman from the Philippines. They had a son, my brother in 1993. I was born in 1966. I'm Native American. From the Spirit Lake Tribe in North Dakota. My dad was full blooded Norwegian. My daughter and my brother are the same age just 3 months apart. It was an awesome time in my life to share that with my dad's new wife. My dad passed away 2014. They were together 20 years. I just love watching your channel. The last three days that you shared were very impressive and inspiring and disturbing. But. If I could I would raise bees and become a bee keeper. My dad believed in privacy like you do. He lived 13 miles from town. My dads wife is going to rebuild the house on their land and maybe in a couple years I may talk her into to letting me keep bees there. Thanks.

I live in town Kevin and cannot tell you the name if one neighbor. I keep to myself a lot and totally understand your need to do the same. I'm praying you can save the bees you have left. As far as the guy using the fields around you goes, I would not trust him for a second. I'm surprised the lady from the state bought into his story. Never heard of lime on a crop before. When I used to garden we Always added lime during the late fall to give back to the soil. Somehow I feel like all the animal issues and the bees are being done by 2 legged "people". Too many wild animals about during summer for BF to steal your animals and they don't use pesticides. Good luck going forward. Hidden game cameras and maybe a couple of dogs to help guard the property would be a plus.

I agree Kevin . I have thought so for sometime. I think that you have a two legged pest who visits your property and not a PBFS. As someone who has lived in the country my whole life there is always some trace of livestock being taken. The only thing I know that leaves very little trace is the human kind of pest. Around here is an increasing incidence of people getting small portable livestock and pets stolen to be " resold " especially in remote country areas. I also wonder how many chicken dinners or rabbit stews someone in your locality might have had for free recently?

Kevin I truly like your analytical mind and the way you think through the possibilities/probabilities of a sociopathic behavior steeped in revenge because you would not be bullied into allowing this individual onto your land to take the hay. I do, however, believe that the reason you lost all those butterflies, the wee rabbit covered in tumors and the sudden loss of June bugs had nothing to do with just the proposed lime spreading. This lime was heavily laced with pesticides....in my opinion. As you pointed out about the disappearance pf those lovely rabbits and chickens, there was no sign of struggle. So once again it begs the question of bi-pedal intention. This does not include Him, Her, It or They in the equation. Be careful Kevin as I believe this guy is about to snap into greater ill deeds. He has agricultural officers believing he`s a nice guy, so he now believes he`s exempt of any suspicion. I do wonder if he is related to Ted Bundy. In his pea brain he is thinking `How dare you tell me I can`t have that hay...I`ll show you that you can`t have what you want either.

Your family is how we are leave me the hell alone and be on your way. But at the same time I swear there’s unfortunate situations that comes with it. Ppl keep messing with our cars hitting them nails etc. As sad as it is we had to put cameras up. I can’t tell you on how many occasions those things save our butts! I say totally worth having! I would just make sure you get a good system with night vision and high resolution. This way you can identify what needs to be identified. Man my heart goes out to you and your family. Good Luck

You know, I'll bet Steven Smith, below, could possibly be right. Do you use any motion sensor cameras at home? Also, you are a good "educator"! Keep helping us learn more and more :) So glad Dearly and Daniel are back home. That had to be tough for you to be there alone. (Probably got a lot of writing done, though :) I just now glanced at the available video screen and see you holding up a surveillance camera!!

Yep. Families like that seem to "get off" terrorizing neighbors who aren't related. They might even go as far as involving non family neighbors to harass you as well. I've dealt with that all that too. It's exhausting and sometimes it's hard to get local law enforcement to do anything about it. Hang in there. Get you cameras up. It's a must have at this point. Documentation is everything.

So are they just going to take the annoying neighbors word for it that he just sprayed lime??? Aren't they going to take soil samples to check?? I would never take him for his word, and they shouldn't either!! It doesn't make sense that it would be from someone spraying around their pool, because even if any of your neighbors have pools, look how far away from you they are!! Unlike the hay land that was sprayed which is right across the street and right next door to your property!!
