Fancy cabin and adorable family. Stubb's sauce is still my favorite. Our favorite camp junk food is donuts...Bring back the tent!

You are lucky you didn't see a bear. A lot of bears get hit on highway 70 going towards New Bern . I might have to check out the campground , I live in Kinston , It would be a change of scenery. The sign indicates how high the water was in that spot. Florence caused major damage in New Bern . Go to you tube and look at the videos in regards to the hurricane.

One good thing about that campground is that it has a lot of activity and black bears don't like people or noise. It would be worth you checking out Kinston is not far from New Bern. Wow, that is crazy the water got up that high, and we will look into those videos. Thanks for the suggestion.
