What is the E-2 visa program? The United States Government allows residents of 80 treaty countries (list below) to reside in the USA through business ownership.
And while buying a franchise is not a prerequisite to obtain the E-2 visa there are a number of benefits.
For example it is readily accepted that a well known, established franchise brand offers a higher likelihood of overall success, and a higher likelihood of employing US workers over an unproven business. US immigration officials will also be familiar with a national franchise brand, unlike a unproven business plan that has little or no history.

Unfortunately many franchises will not work with E-2 applicants, and not all franchise business models are suitable for purposes of the E-2.

hello dear unfortunately IRAQ isn't a treaty country for E-2 visa, so in this case what kind of visa is suitable for investing in USA for IRAQIS? except EB-5 visa? thanks

Sorry we only work with E-2 and EB-5 investor type visas. An immigration attorney would be the best resource to determine if other options are available to you.

excuse me sir, what do you think of LLC investment in Delware or Nevada? it's for non-resident in USA if you know any information about it like is it possible to have a franchise as an existing business, what's the required budget, is it profitable or not, safe ... etc? Yes, E-2 visa can also be acquired through a non-franchised company. LLC is simply the structure of the corporation it is not a specific business. Yes, you can purchase an existing resale franchise as long as it is suitable for E-2. There is no set minimum amount for the E-2 visa, however the business cannot be considered "marginal". We suggest $100K USD for new franchises and $150-$200K minimum for resale franchises. Again, every scenario is different so your lawyer will guide you on what makes sense for your particular situation. Thanks for the comment.
