Team Venom all the way! ❤ The thing that is lacking in Bridges is authenticity. Lighthouse feels like a song that Sissi has lived, whereas Bridges feels like a song Alika can sing really well. And I don't think she can do any more to make people feel the song, because it was a very solid performance with a great concept and vocally flawless.

I agree that Alika's performance seemed to lack emotion, although everything was on point. Sissi's song and performance is powerful, meaningful and heartfelt. Ollie ticks all the boxes with song, lyrics, powerful performance, great staging and the design elements of production are fresh and innovative. So Good (at what you do) was co-written by Stefan and Stig Rästa, sung by m els, very musical and enjoyable, with simple yet effective staging, great performance. #1. Ollie #2. Sissi #3. m els

I absolutely agree with the balkan guy in terms of Bad Philosophy having no chorus, in the beginning the melody with those lyrics make it sound like a pre-chorus, it's a brilliant build up but then the build up was the climax? Which just completely disappoints me, this song is still my most played song and I love it but yeah I feel like the song is doing so well but it goes nowhere eventually, there is no big moment, no vocal challenge, but the song is just something that makes my brain so happy.

My top 3: 1: Alika - "Bridges" It sounds like the studio, the performance is gorgeous. I'm glad Shane went off on her defence 2: Ollie - "Venom" I love the song, but the performance was rock song by numbers. Maybe the Final stadium will give them the space to do something a little more interesting and it could swap places 3: Sissi - "Lighthouse" Beautiful song, beautiful singer. Something just didn't work for me in the live performance. I think she was maybe a little underchoreographed and ran out of ideas part way through. But I tend to have a bias for the really slick performances so that's just me. I would be happy for any of them to win. Honorable mention to Inger for being the only artist to account for the semifinal being in the round. In a lot of performances, I kept looking over the artist's shoulders feeling bad for the audience members who bought tickets to see very little as 90% of the artists pretended there was a wall there. The rotating platform and commitment to work with the venue rather than against it is admirable and shows real artistry. I don't really love the song, but I do see that performance.

Omg Andreas is an amazing talent, come on Noosh. I can't understand what is your problem with this song. U called him like "Ooh this one :/" There is no need to shame the kid, because your second place Janek has the terrible live performance I think. Andreas is too young and never deserves that kind of reaction. Anyway ESC Vins, congrats again. I watched UMK 2023 Eurovision Tea video, your fav song was Kuumaa - Ylivoimainen. Now Andreas - Why Do You Love Me. I think you have an amazing musical perspective. Please don't feel lonely mate.

Bad Philosophy 3rd Janek was my pre favourite, but slipped to 2nd after the static performance. Alika is my 1st, but I am not keen on the self playing piano. I rather she played the piano.

I predict Venom to win, but I don't want it because it doesn't sound European, it's American pop rock.

As a fan of rock that lived during a certain era, I grew a bit of disdain for Nickelback type songs. Ollie's song may be accessible to people who don't really care for rock, but it is a hard pass for people like me.

I am very curious to know though, what did you think of Blind Channel in 2021 because I'll be honest, I thought people who liked rock might've thought Dark Side was too early 2000s rock (apologies if I got the era wrong) and since it was palatable to typically non rock listeners, maybe people who enjoy that genre of music wouldn't like it as much.

It had modern sound just like all of this genre in 2021, so i never understand why eurofans say about any rock song that it sounds fron other year

@Michelle I thought it was a good choice for Finland, but it wasn't my favorite. It was a bit too familiar for me. I tend to gravitate toward bands that have a unique sound (which is a rarity).

Yknow what, Venom is my n1 but after the semis, I went from not really being the biggest fan of Bridges to it being my 2nd place. The staging was great, vocally she smashed it and I think especially if it's between Ollie and Alika (Sissi I could see coming 3rd) that either of those could do brilliantly at esc and would be quality entries.
