Our Embryo Adoption Story - The Winder Family

The last few years have been a wild journey for our little family.
We've experienced the beauty of having our firstborn son, Atticus. We have also sadly suffered the loss of our second pregnancy with Arlo, just two years ago this spring. After years of trying to get pregnant, lots of confusion and questions, our fertility specialist has informed us that we have been put into the "unexplainable" category of infertility, that about 15% of infertile couples fall into.
As our longing to grow our family increased, God surfaced our connected passions for adoption. Throughout our lives together, one thing remains… God is good. We know that his timing is perfect and as hard as it can be to rest in that knowledge, we are continuing to place the desires of our hearts in his hands. Now, we may be taking the biggest leap of faith we have or ever will have taken...

Through the Snowflakes Embryo Adoption program, we'll be working with Nightlight Christian Adoptions to bring home our next baby!
God has called our family to embryo adoption. We understand that there are many different questions surrounding embryo adoption, which is why we've linked up a helpful video resource below. We'd also like to invite you to pique your curiosity and please reach out to us -we'd be happy to share more of our story and help understand this exciting journey :)
The reality is, adoption is expensive. Our personal adoption expenses total $16,000. This cost includes agency fees, home study fees, legal fees, medical procedures for embryo implantation (this is not covered by insurance), and more. The $16,000 does not include any part of the pregnancy or birth of our adopted child.
That's why we're asking you for your support!

1) Pray. For provision, timing, and a healthy pregnancy.
2) Give. If you feel led to give, the best way is to donate via this GoFundMe. All funds will go directly to the adoption process.
3) Share. - If you can think of anyone who might be inspired by our story, consider sharing it with them. Our hope is that our story can bring hope to other couples struggling.
