Our Experience With Buying from Carvana and Delivery Day

Did you have to hand in any documents in person or just online? I know their website says it is contactless delivery.

I remember having to text a selfie with our driver’s license and proof of insurance the day of delivery. I believe we had to sign to accept the car and were handed paperwork, so it wasn’t completely contactless.

Any problems with the car ? When you got the car was nice and clean from the inside and outside ?

Our delivery person was great. The car was pretty clean, the detailing was okay (not bad but not amazing). There were a couple of scratches to the interior roof fabric that were not disclosed in the pictures or online description. Our option was to accept or decline the car at that point. I did let Carvana know. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would buy from them again. Hope this helps! Had my drop.off April 6. I had big disclosed scratches and gave me rear camber toe out.

Did you have any issues getting your tags and title? I've got a carvana car coming next week and I've heard and seen a lot of related horror stories.

We didn’t have any issues with the title. The permanent tags were delayed and they sent us new temp tags that we had to print out. I would recommend printing your receipt now in case you need the sales tax for tax filing. I had a copy, but the online version was not available when I tried to print it again.

They had a variety of times available. It may depend on the area. I’m sure Carvana customer service could help more.
