Been eating here for years and love it! Fun story, if you've ever used an American Express here to pay you can thank me. Years ago I tried to pay with an AMEX, and the manager went on a little rant about why he doesn't like those cards. I was like, 'OK,' and gave him a Visa. I left a review stating how great the place was, but that getting heckled about paying with an AMEX wasn't needed. Came in a year later and they accepted AMEX. I said, 'oh wow you now take AMEX!' The waitress was like, "yeah we got a review stating we were rough to a customer about accepting AMEX, so we decided to start taking it!' I was like, 'that was me!' She said, 'yep so now we take it.' LOL. Great service here and see the same staff year to year, so great place to stop and eat.

I enjoy your videos.The food looks really good.I had weight loss surgery last month,so I can’t eat like that anymore.So I can enjoy watching you get good food.I think sausage,eggs,potatoes,and toast is about my favorite breakfast.Maybe add a side of country gravy.And the food needs to be fresh and hot.No excuse for food not being hot.

we are in pigeon forge right now, it took us 9 hours yesterday to get here, and wow just very worth it, we spent the entire day today doing cades cove and roaring fork, took a trolley around, ate at the waffle house this morning in sevierville, and had pizza at the mountain mall, we might go to the majestic dinner theater tomorrow, and maybe go to the skyliner diner for breakfast, it's suppose to rain a lot tomorrow, we'd like to go through the mountains one more time as we leave wednesday morning for ocean city maryland, but it is so beautiful in the mountains i actually shed a tear at the glory of it all, i was like praise the Lord for his creation, thank you for your videos, God Bless :)

We were in Pigeon Forge last week. We ate breakfast at Mel's Dinner. It was one of the best breakfast we have had in the Smokies in our 30 years of visits.

We have never eaten here. Usually when in Gatlinburg we eat at Log Cabin or Flap Jacks. We also Love the breakfast at AppleBarn, it’s very, very reasonable. We are definitely going to try this place out. Thanks for sharing.

We (Kentucky folks) enjoy it there and we enjoy staying at Carr's Cottage just down 321 toward Gatlinburg. No need for overpriced rooms and overpriced restaurant food for us!

When I was in Gatlinburg early November I only ate breakfast at a restaurant once, it was there. It surprised me that as busy as they were they had a table as soon as I entered.

Do you all remember the Mountain Lodge restaurant out that way? It was just a tiny place but it was a local favorite and it was also our favorite! It was always packed! It burned down in the fire and the family decided to not rebuild. We haven’t found an equal since then, so your review of this one gives us hope! Lol!

Pammie, we loved Mountain Lodge as well. Give Little House of Pancakes a try, I think you'll like it as much or almost as much as Mountain Lodge Restaurant. (Just get there kind of early or you'll be waiting in line)

Best place I ate at in Gatlinburg was Crockets I think? It is the place that serves breakfast in an iron skillet. Easily the best breakfast I have had there. Pancakes are super thick, food was great. Its always busy because it is always good.

We always go to Gatlinburg during football season. We get to our motel and walk Gatlinburg and a nice dinner. The next day,half of the group goes to the game while the other part walks Gatlinburg. We were trying to plan this years trips. We were shocked how much it cost to stay in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge right now. The price of our favorite motel has triple. I guess day trip to the football games this year. Cannot afford to go to the Smokies for a weekend. It is ashame.
