Sambo's was a great breakfast/lunch, better than any chain today. The managements ignoring the civil rights movement doomed them. I remember well "Little Black Sambo" in the early 60's. They could have saved it by simple changes but were fools. I believe there is one left in Santa Barbara, CA. Lum's is an adult memory much missed. When I lived in floriduh the end of a long drive from Key West to Fort Lauderdale was a beer and Hot Dog at Lum's.
