It's because they don't look "perfect" if that makes sense. So much of modern photography & videography is dead as art because the goal has become ultimate clarity, but that leaves no room for style or realism. Idk. It might just be something that younger people won't understand because they grew up with different standards for visual media, but there's a lot of the art & styling of photography/videography is completely dead. Andy's photos felt like a breath of fresh air.

Dreamcast is still the one I have the softest spot for. All those future-facing new things that first appeared on it. First console where the games seemed to be 'arcade perfect'. (I may still have dents in my hand, from that controller though). Oh - and yes, it's why I hate the PS2. DC got slaughtered by the coverage of the PS2's "Emotion Engine" and all the rest - and when PS2 turned up, DVD drive aside, it was all 'meh'

@@lazorpie orca skydive is free and should work just fine ! You calibrate your controller and set the axis then you can fly. The map pool is limited but hey, it's free ahah. I suggest looking at a fpv simulator basics video on yt by Mr Steele for example or Joshua Bardwell but it's easy to try out (even if hard in the begin it's very rewarding talking from my own experience over 3 months of flying)

Making electronic hardware durable and high quality is stupid af, because the developing software will require new drivers and new drivers will require new hardware rendering your tech useless in 3-5 years anyway, no matter how high quality and durable it is. Silicon is one time use only.

The gaming console Anthony is showing also doesn’t need drivers, is still working. And one of the reasons Madison still has that MacBook working is because those thick MacBooks used to be rock solid, war machines. No drivers updates needed. And we can go on and on.
