own a 0450. this was my first (expensive) knife purchase, but once i held it i could tell it was quality and had to purchase on the spot. absolutely impressed and love the ball bearing system. havent had a single issue and i use this knife daily both at work and at play

This video is awesome. I met my father when I was 21 years old, and coming home from Iraq. Before he passed one of the only things he bought me was a ZT 0300. I've never really been knowledgeable about knives, but I appreciated the quality. I carry it every day on duty. It's no moon piece...that 999...whooo, but I like it. To see the 0350 really brought it back. Thanks guys. Also...Matt, teach me the ways of your craft! You make the videos rock!

I carry a knife every day. Collecting for 60 years. You’ll be happiest with 0562 or 562CF. You can wear it on the belt or keep it in the pocket as this one clip will do it all for you. Looks sensational. The steel is very good and I caught the sharpest edge of any factory knife ever! The knifes action copies a full custom. You’ll love it. Best value on the table for a top notch knife.

Own the 0450CF and 0804. they are both fantastic. I switch off between the two of them as my EDC depending on what I'm wearing and what I'm doing that day. Planning on picking up the 0801 as well. I love ZT, they're my favorite production knife company. I love every Rexford design that's out.

Was always an 0888 fan. Wish I collected ZT,s back when it was released. I got 6 now, the 0888 would be my holy grail in the collection. Fantastic knives, haven’t been disappointed with one yet!

I found a 0566cf the other day in a river kayaking. No clue how long it was in there but its in great shape! S35vn no rust, great action out of the river! Never saw myself buying a zt till now

I just bought a 0566 about a week ago and love it so far, great blade! The only change ive made is a deep carry pocket clip from mxg gear. Off of the table here I would take home the 0850, beautiful knife. I also have the 0393 on pre-order which I'm excited for.

I currently own a 0562ti and use the hell out of it so decided to buy another this past week but the 0562cf with full titanium blue screw/standoff set and a custom anodizing job on titanium frame lock side of knife. if I was to take another ZT home that's on table in this video it would have to be the 0999. I love carbon fiber on my knives and I love how they incorporated copper in the blade steels. usually a huge fan of knives that have micarta, carbon fiber, brass, copper, titanium, timascus, moku-ti, zircu-ti and zirconium and a high quality blade steels. best knife I currently own is a Custom Knife Factory CKF Philipe Jourget FIF20 with a m390 blade, zircu-ti bolsters and pocket clip with carbon fiber scales. knife is absolutely amazing and has the smoothest action I've ever felt on a knife. matches my zirc tactile turn pen/pencil set that both have timascus bolts and pocket clips perfectly as well which is kinda why I bought knife in first place. lmfao

I have an Emerson ZT and it’s the best knife I’ve ever owned. Better built and smoother than any of my Spydercos, Benchmades, my Microtech, my Ferrum Forge, or anything else I’ve owned. Really a joy to use!

I have ZT0566 for over 2 years now and I didn't have any real problems with the knife. I just broke torsion bar and pocket clip by accident, and even though it was 100% my fault ZT didnt even ask about it, they just sent me replacements parts for free. Their customer service is great.

Great vid love the zero tolerance knives. I love the new hindered design with the blue on the grip, but would have to take the 999 if given a choice. Disclaimer: I own the 456 & 460, which are fantastic, and might have been my choice otherwise.

Zac, try using paint brush cleaner (the kind which can clean acrylic or oil paint) on the more stubborn dirty spots. I'm a working man myself, I've used it to clean everything from burnt conveyor belt smudges to Aluminium silicate grit off my skin. Still haven't found something it would not wash off.

I like that you very discretely mentioned the problem they have with their product names. The rep should have picked up on that. I've lost patience figuring out which models are which. I'm sure it's costing them sales for people like me. Why not throw in the overall size (M,S,L,XL) or assist (AS) like they do with the carbon fibre (CF). Or even a style grouping.

I love ZT (my favorite being the 0562) but I have an issue with the 0801TI... there’s a rattle when you shake it. I’ve handled others to make sure it wasn’t just mine and every 0801ti has this issue... it isn’t the only zt with this issue but once you hear it, it can’t be unheard

Hey BHQ! Question, does ZT ever make any non-frame locks or frame locks with scales on the back side? I do not like knives that only have a given handle material on one side. I've owned a few but now its a deal breaker no matter what just about.

Great review! I'm kinda new to the knife game. Bought a Benchmade. Thought it was great. I do like the Axis lock. Then I bought a ZT (0452cf) and absolutely chuckled at how mediocre the ZT made the Benchmade look re: quality, fit and finish. Is that normal? The centering on the Benchmade was awful. Love ZT!!!! 🤙🏻

I have a ZT 0700 BLK and must say it is quite robust. It is a g-10 scaled flipper, looks like titanium liner lock, s30v steel, flat grind kind of a tanto. Easily sharpens to like a razor and shaves my arm hair with no pressure needed. There is no play If all their blades are like this I would not hesitate to buy another.

I personally own a 0562CF, but unfortunately I got mine when they were doing them in 204P. Not a bad steel, but I like the 20CV better myself. Beautiful knife though. I wanted something beefy for camping and hard tasks, and it fails to disappoint. Looks really pretty too, but that's just a bonus.

Alex Gentry 20cv and 204p are virtually identical steels. They’re just made by different companies.

Is the 801 Ti sold out or discontintued ? Something about "holes in the show-side" (e.g. Benchmade Adamas)...me likes. And ZT does have a knife for Ben from ZT the "22"...it's a "5th pockewt" compact life...not cheap for the size...not sure if it has a 20cv blade...definitely sub 3" blade...

This video is nearly a year old to the day when I re-watched it. As of writing this comment the ZT 0393 is on the verge of discontinuation and I purchase one for $180 tonight at BladeHQ. I pulled the trigger not only for the price, but at the time of filming this video there was no way we knew about the upcoming ZT 0393GLCF for 2019, something I plan to get the moment its available.
