Happy new year to you both. Love all your videos. Been watching 4 years this month plus the ones before. Sorry your Christmas didnt go according to plan. I had a knee replacement the week before Christmas so couldn't cook dinner but we still had a nice Christmas. We have had a caravan for 5.5 years now, a 7.5 metre motorhome before that but this year we are thinking of going back to a compact motorhome or campervan, we cant decide. We have watched all your motorhome videos at the shows and dealers etc but still cant decide. Exciting times though. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing what van you have decided to get

Happy New Year, we're just planning our trip to Holland in April as we went last year with a rally group and enjoyed it immensely. However, noticed the price of ferries and the tunnel has risen even going through the caravan and motorhome club. Have you arranged Europe trips yet? Like you we have a dog and need to carefully plan where we pitch.

We have booked Le Shuttle through the club for our Denmark trip. Booking direct now would be £375. We paid £357.50 when we booked in December. We are going at a more expensive time this year than last, so it's difficult to compare.

Happy new year Bob and Jenny , you was on about yr friends car , we had that problem with our kuga we was in Cornwall the car new so we took it to a Ford dealer down there couldn’t find anything at all until he noticed our tow bar had some mucky paint mark and it was where the earth wire was so he gave it a good clean and hey presto never had anymore bother 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for your very informative videos. We're getting our first MH in March. Very nervous but excited. Re Poppy and her not liking the rain on the roof. Have you thought of putting an elastic snood over her ears. My son's dog hates loud noises/bangs etc. She wears one and it does seem to help muffle the sound.

Great stuff Bob - even with the bad weather you've put some ideas into my head for our Spring tour! Meathop Fell is now on the list and whilst in the area, I fancy moving on to Ravenglass C& CC site, when it re-opens, after re-furbishment. It's very adjacent to the village and both narrow gauge and Cumbrian Coast railways - great! Happy new year to you both.

There’s a Buddhist temple near this site which has a lovely vegetarian restaurant and does great lunches and cakes. The car park can cope with a motorhome and the garden area is dog friendly 👍

Yes, I was using the gimbal without any camera stabilisation, so I think there is a bit of camera shake. I'm going to keep the stabilisation on from now on.

Ahhh, that’ll most likely sort it. So, what software do you use? I’ve been using iMovie on my iPad but, I’ve recently treated myself to a new laptop and I’d like to use it for my editing. I’ve not got many vids yet but, I’m hoping to give it a lot more time and effort this year.

This format is useful - no, you're not bungee jumping, skydiving or doing 'exciting' clickbait content, but its actually helpful to know what a site looks like and what facilities there are. CAMC sites are generally pretty good, if a bit pricier. Good luck with the new van.

We are always warm enough in the motorhome, Alde heating works beautifully. A door mat, a carpet runner, sometimes a towel on the floor and covers on the sofas keeps the motorhome cleanish, but it's best not to worry about that. It will always brush out!

Bob can I ask you, if you are mostly on hook up, is the cost / weight penalty of the eco flow worth it ? I'm not convinced that spending hundreds on a powerbank is money well spent on a fully serviced pitch, but then I'm Welsh and careful.

I have a load of camera gear, gimbals, batteries to charge, so for me it's worth it. There's no way I could handle all that with a load of USB lights. It also makes the coffee in lay-bys!

Hi you two not a complaint but yes you do talk over each other a little. Your new van my thought is it’s a Bailey. I am running a rally in Winchester for the Coachman owners club in July and there is no power on site would your power pack run a tea urn if so May look at one.

Turn comments off if you’re not interested in other’s opinions. The fact you are happy with 16hrs of darkness spent in a van, driving around in bad weather to pass time, eating pizza and attempting a stir fry on a low powered hob without a wok is all fine by me and that is your choice. A sad reaction if you think I’m miserable I’m far from it. But I did fast forward the paid promotion section so maybe I am. 😅
