usually early nests in the season are empty as the males as still not 100% on heat and the females they got ready earlier, that's why you need to make sure that there are no nests in the cage until you see the males 100% ready , (that depends on the kind of course)

beautiful as usual this breeding ,the green finches that we call "greening " in france I and had four last year but all died on the eighth day ,this year I have a couple the female made the nest but still did not lay!

Was thinking about re joining the Bobby till I found out the new law that if u keep 1 or more bird poultry including Bobby birds you have to register them

I haven’t read the exact rules and regulations but I believe that it’s over 50 bird that are kept in an outside environment not a dedicated bird house

Omg just found out that if you have own 1 poultry bird you have to register it or face 6 month in prison or a £5000 fine
