Oh Jeff, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing! There is no time table for grief and it is my experience that you never really get over a loss like this you only find a way to live with it. With time, you will find yourself crying less and smiling more when thinking of your Mom. Hugs to you, Taylor and all who knew and loved your Mom. Speaking of your husband, Taylor, don’t ever lose your childlike spirit! You always make me smile when you get excited, clap and giggle! It’s a wonderful quality to have! I am old enough to be your mother, but never miss the opportunity to jump in a puddle, swing on a swing, go sled riding etc. I will always be a child at heart! The Christmas tree looks beautiful! I did get a Lionel train starter set for Christmas one year with all arc tracks that made a full circle under the tree. Other gifts were more cars, tracks and drops to put in the engine to make it smoke. Best Christmas even. Another year I got the intersection that allowed a crazy eight along with a tunnel. These are still in my attic. I might have to bring them out thanks to this.

My hubby got some plain white ping-pong balls, cut a small 'X' in each 1 and randomly put them over an exposed light bulb to make mini glow bulbs on our white, copper and silver tree this year. Taylor a suggestion for hanging the Christmas ornaments for next year. Buy some curling ribbon or narrow satin ribbon in the color theme of the tree. Cut it into roughly 8-inch lengths and run the ribbon through the hook hole and then make a loop with a little knot or make a bow. If you make a bow, you will need a little more ribbon than 8 inches. I hate the wire hangers also and the ribbon is very festive.

I own this exact tree lol (Except mine has colored lights) It's a great tree but I agree with you Taylor, the fluffing is the worst part! I love how your tree looks!! I am noticing more and more people aren't using garland anymore on their tree. I have wooden beads garland and some felt garland that are little balls lol I switch up from year to year.
