I’ve been saying this forever! I’m so happy to hear people also feel this way. My first car was a 1961 Volkswagen (got it in 2017) but it was awful to drive, the stick shift was different from stick shifts now and it also reeked of gasoline even if I had the windows up and gave me migraines. I’m from California so it had no AC (obviously 😪) and it was horrible during summer. That’s when I learned for me old cars are just nice to look at but not drive one.

The cat backpack is so cute! I have a medical mask a friend made that is just the beak of a plague doctor mask, and it's always a 50/50 shot whether I get glared at or complimented. Kids and old women seem to love it for some reason. Maybe Canadian old ladies are built differently, lol.

I don’t think people understand how difficult it is to leave your kids, especially when they have special needs. Even with the most competent sitter that you trust with all your heart. My husband and I haven’t been on a date in years either. We desperately need one. But you do what you have to. Glad to see you 2 enjoyed each others company. Keep it alive so you don’t lose yourselves when your kids are grown.

This happened to me and my ex bf we were together almost 20 years..we have a middle child with a rare illness and with that as you know comes with lots of different medical appointments etc and time always seems to come into play for day to day life as well because you never know how the day will go and if your little one gets sick then you end up with hospital stays ranging anywhere from 3 days to a week..at least thats how it was for her and like you, I trust no one so I stayed bedside everytime and it was like that especially the first few years, she eventually got into a more stable place where it wasn't as frequent, but we just didn't make time for each other it was admittedly pretty impossible with the hospital stays and visits and all..but even so I sincerely cant remember the last time we ever spent any.. if at all any alone time together at all? or had a date night or just a night in general with just each others company, and I think that's why we eventually just grew apart and we just came to a point where we just couldn't pretend it was working for either of us and we ended up separating..maybe it was me but then maybe it was him idk but it was our own fault for not making the extra effort! even if it was a small effort, to not try to make even a little bit of time for one another if we had then maybe we would never drifted so far from each other until we could no longer reach each other, but point is make that extra time because it truly is important for the health of your relationship, otherwise it suffers and eventually withers away and although I will always carry love in my heart for the my ex bf father of 3 of my children and I'm sad the way everything ended up, I'm in a place of happiness again it's been 4 years since our separation and almost 3 years since I been with my new bf and we have a 2 mo old son and even though I wonder at times if it would have ended regardless of those circumstances, I don't regret that we separated otherwise I would not have my new bf and son who I love tremendously.❤❤❤ Sorry for the extremely long paragraph it's hard to try to edit something very long and huge into a shorter version lol but you have a wonderful day! I Love my little spooky family. You both are adorable, old souls. That coat is flawless and Mr. Owl is as dapper and classy as ever, albeit incorporeal. Greetings to you and Mr. Owl 😊 Glad you guys got to go out on a date and have fun together! The folks around seemed so nice, too. It’s so sweet that you all are thoughtful about showing nice things from the waitstaff and hostess but still keep their privacy by not showing their faces. You did great on your first night out without the little ones! I can say it gets easier; the first time away from them is the hardest. The next hurdle may be leaving them with a babysitter who is not a family member. No matter how competent the sitter is, I’ve heard from other moms that you might still end up calling a few times to say, “I know you’re amazingly qualified and great at what you do, but I’m nervous, are the kids okay?” XD You can do it! Take care of yourselves and be well. Thank you for sharing joy with us.

If you are going out after a few years because of kids and such, as happens with ppl, then you are MOST DEFINITELY allowed to have not only the shake and other desserts, but the filet mignont too if you want as well. What ever you need then or want in those times. Get it while you can & go for it. No regrets. Live your life & be happy. Though fish is also good.

This is what being a mom feels like and it doesn't ease up until they're 9 or 10. I swear, I couldn't relax and we had phones. I'd get home and my son was fine. Once they get a bit older and independent, you'll finally relax and want them small again. We can't win.
