My only regret from this night is that we were so freakin busy and short handed on the track side we didn't get shots of everyone driving. Mainly just my cars because I was hollering at someone to pickup a camera for a short bit. Next time we will have a dedicated film team! Also, shout out to Parker for pulling an all nighter with me to give Rocket a shot even though it didn't work out. It was a freaking awesome weekend regardless!

It really was an excellent idea. If the pandemic hadn't happened then it would be even more so.. But hundreds of thousands of people watch these guys every single day and become part of a family.. People come from all over to go to meet and greets. Cleet doesn't have to do those in parking lots and stuff. Where they get kicked out, and cops come, etc etc. He can host events at an actual race track.. That's his... And everyone can come and take part in the hobby that brought us all together, whilst potentially meeting their favorite KZbinr(s). Excellent idea.

@@jaydunbar7538 nah he's just a workhorse for events. That car spends more time in the limiter than any other car in the fleet. But the motor is built and detuned for burnouts and drifting. Its a almost 1200hp car and he only runs it at ~800.

I was there and it was a great event! Best drift event i have ever been too! The only things were lighting was not perfect and the sound system didn't reach the end of the stands. (Where i was sitting) Also we wanted more adam tandems!!!!! So fun to watch!! Food was great and I bought a shirt and some stickers!!!

Honestly I'm kind of glad there wasn't a lot of footage. Cleetus was out there enjoying the event as much as everyone. Sometimes you don't need a video of what happens, just put the camera down and enjoy your hard work paying off. It was never about the money, it was about having a place to enjoy with friends and saving a track because we are losing so many of them now.

And to think the freedom factory is just getting started. Imagine once the ball is rolling and it's been open for a few years Formula drift being here, circle track racing that it was known for previous coming back, hell even having a yearly event of freedom factory turning to dirt and doing some dirt track racing like bristol does. Can't wait to see the freedom factory in the future

I started my LS swap with the maf unplugged, pretty sure they default to speed density when the maf isn't plugged in. Engine management depending I guess.

I dont know cleetus but I'm so proud and happy for him..he took someone's run down track and is bringing its glory back and building it up and bringing the car community back..he's making memories and doing what we need right now..bringing people close together to have fun and enjoy the moments..its awesome to see this.
