Hey Cleetus great video man! This winter here's a fun project, I'd like to see old Jack stand do. Weld two of the same model cars together, side by side with an I beam or square tube framework, about 2 or 3 feet apart from each other, with the frame connections being able to pivot up or down, on removable pin like hinges, at each frame mount, (to easily separate the cars by pulling the hinge pins), but to account for the different angles of ground under each car, as they drift around corners side by side, or fly in together, drifting through the track entrance. That would be a challenge to any drift driver, because to drift and change drift directions in turns, both drivers would have to change their speed, faster or slower, because your car would always be on the same side but either leading or trailing. The challenge is definitely there and so is the comedy as each pair of drivers tries for the first time anywhere.... Parallel Drifting! The drivers have to work together to drift and turn or they'd look like two rookies no matter how good they both are! Lol. I Just think it would be a lot of fun, definitely different, would draw a lot of attention from the drift world, while creating a cool challenge for any drifters who tried it. Definitely use it as a special segment to fill in during events. Just thinking outside the box, again! Later Cleetus! Jpol.

Pro drivers seem to consistently carry more angle for longer. Not sure if that’s a mechanical difference or a confidence/control level Cleet hasn’t reached yet, or most likely a little of both.
@rgonzo20843 жыл бұрын
Pro drifters have a better suspension allowing them to do so. Helps them gain the extra angle they need, better but expensive parts.
@203Cree3 жыл бұрын
A lot of it will fall on the chassis setup and engine power difference.
@seanforehand7553 жыл бұрын
It's a mechanical grip/ suspension set up thing. grip in drift is way more important than a lot of people understand.
@isaacboettcher34893 жыл бұрын
They have way more power and mechanical grip so they can carry more momentum! Matt had way more grip in the car you could tell every time he was on throttle he would surge

Dude use the handbrake if you feel like you want to or need to, but for the love of freedom stop it with the bad habit of just holding the hydro when not using it and steering with one hand.

Yup. The whole reason behind having a 2 foot long handle is so you can switch as fast as possible.

Yeah hopefully he gets some lessons off camera. He doesn’t want to cement these bad habits while he’s still learning.

One of these pro's needs to go passenger with him and tell him this. He will never progress to the level of these guys driving one handed. Maybe learning in a car with stock location handbrake would have broken this habit early

To be honest with ya Cleetus, I did not see where that dudes driving skills were any better than yours. I respect your humble and open minded attitude. You have mad driving skills. That dude may have experience and may be the shit on the strip, but i find him to be arrogant about it...! Anyway for what it's worth, I respect what you do and what you have done to the automotive community and that race track.... i live down the street in Limestone, Fl. and have been going to that track for years. it has never been more thrilling and as many people than it is now... You have done a great thing , you also have a great team, Hell ya Brother. So Keep Being You. Thank you.
