For right now, yes! but I do also have my CDL which allows me to transport heavier freight then a non-CDL would.

We got our CDL and bought a truck and leased under a hotshot company! But you do not have to have your CDL to do hotshot, it’s just more options available when you do have it

Are hot shot drivers ones that flunk there CDL ?

Absolutely not! We got our CDL with no experience and passed on our first try, on the permit test and on the driving test. It’s just about are you willing to put in the work and get it done! Doesn’t matter if you started as a hotshot driver.
