The s-waver is a good budget entry glide, I would have to agree on what was said about the action straight out the package it does not chop well. I shaved down the points on the end of the belly section of the bait to give that hinge a wider range and it helped to let that bait kick out better. The spro chadshad is very good for it's price, the profile of the bait is great, if they made a slow sink it would be even better but the color selection does kind of suck. The baitsanity chimera shad is another good "budget" glide, it's slow sink/suspending with swivel hook hangers but it's $80.

The river 2 sea S-waver is a good place to start if you want to get into glide baits. That bait just catches fish

I've found the s waver is more of a big wide s motion when steady swimming it. Not really meant to be a long hanging wide glide or chop style. But I'm sure lightening up the hardware weight, and leveling the fall of the bait would result in a bigger glide.

The S-Waver has seen its day, I’d buy an Ima glide fluke 178 if I were on a budget. It took me 18 mos to get on a resin Chad Shad drop, now I own 2 and 2 legends. There is no comparison IMO. The resin tuning is amazing, it does not rock like the plastic glides do.
