I got my first apt at the age of 30. It was a studio in a ghetto in Connecticut. I didn’t know it was the ghetto until after I moved in 🤣 Anyways I moved in with no furniture or anything. I took a bus to Walmart bought myself an air mattress some cups and plates, a few days later my ex gave me a brand me mattress and I bought a cheap bed frame from wayfair. I got a cheap desk chair from Burlington, a desk from Walmart, a used dresser and I lived comfortably in my barely Furnished tiny apt for a year until God provided a bigger and better place for me. I moved, gave away all my furniture to a couple that was about to have a child. I slowly bought new furniture and furnished the new place I currently live in. God is good and time is everything. Congrats to you all. I’m proud of you two. All glory to God

Listen man.... I'm proud of you guys!! We designed and built our home and moved in 2 weeks before marriage at 28. Just bed (with head although I gave my husband a warm time because I didn't like it. It was too hard to clean😂) fridge & stove. No sofa, no TV, no washer or dryer! Took us a few months to get those later on. I love u guys.. u are so real ..so I see many blessings in your future. Huge congratulations!!! Big ups and bless ups.

Mi married fi 20 yrs, and all now mi nuh have nuh bed head! 😂 But priorities! And I told my husband that I don't want to compromise, but it's coming! How long did your house buying process took? It was astounding to me how long it took. I think you should do a blog on that process and the step by step for what you did. Cause truss mi, if it wasn't for God and faith, we would have given up!

I’m happy for you guys and I can totally relate! I moved out by myself to escape a situation I didn’t like, moved into the ghetto. I told the landlady that I’m moving in X date knowing very well I didn’t have the deposit. I had a bed (still using the same bed with no bed head 😂), and a dresser. The fridge I had came with the place but it never good and my food was barely even cold. Over time, I got help and I also bought some of my own stuff. Now, I moved out of the ghetto and I have everything (except the bed head) stove, fridge, washing machine, settee and them things. I got married and my husband and I bought our first car too 😌 If it’s anything have Faith and just start. Take the first step and you will reach. I’m happy to see that faith demonstrated. Two twos you guys will max out that apartment and start looking for a bigger one 😌

🎉🎉🎉🎉 Congratulations to you both. I'm truly happy for you. Love the focus and your drive. I was not noticing that no bedhead was not there or is the room and living room split. I am about the content and positive vibes you bring, not to look what you have in your space, so all that you said, if you never said it, I would not know. Owning a property is a big deal, especially when you are young. Don't worry about the furniture. Once you have the apartment, the space will eventually full out. Little by little, just focus on the most important furniture's first. If you can afford to purchase one every month or every 2 or 3 months, do just that based on your budget and do uno thing. In no time, you will have all you need in the space. The 1st place my sister and I rented was a two bedroom. I purchased a fridge, a bed, a dresser, and a bedhead, and my sister purchased a stove, her bed and dresser. We never move with any mattess😂😂😂😂 cause we never have no more money but we move. We had some big spounch and is them we sleep on. When we moved, it was like 2 weeks remaining for pay day, and when we got paid, we went and purchased our mattress. The living room was empty, so I purchased two chairs that we could use on the veranda as well as in the living room. Then we purchased a TV and a nice center piece to put the TV on after words my sister purchased a sofa and before you know it the space was all furnished. So take it in strides and watch how God will provide. Big up uno self. Love you both, and I just love how you both work together to achieve your goals. Congrats again. I love this move, and thank God that you have supportive parents and family members. Now that you will be in Kingston, I have to meet uno😂😂😂😂. I don't live in kingston, but I work in Kingston, and I would love to meet you both one day.
