esthetician here, let your moisturizer dry down a little before applying the tretinoin and also let it dry fully if you’re going to put moisturizer on top! when you apply it right after the moisturizer, it isn’t as effective❤️

This is false. Applying tret to damp moisturized skin actually increases it's penetration in the skin because the skin is more permeable. It can be more irritating than waiting for the moisturizer to dry but it will not be less effective.
