Our first stay at an Ohio State Park! Caesar Creek Campground | ZEPHYR TRAVELS - Campground Review

Campground Review: Caesar Creek Campground in southwest just 30 mile east of Dayton offers fishing and boating on a small lake with clear blue waters, hiking in scattered woodlands trails and camping in green meadows.
We really enjoyed our stay at Caesar Creek State Park this past June (2019). The campground is clean and well maintained and the staff is friendly. We used the campground as a basecamp to visit the National Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio just 30 miles to the west.
The campground offers boating on Caesar Lake with a boat ramp and kayak rentals, hiking and mountain bike trails and play ground for kids of all ages. Most of the sites are electric only, but we did see a few in the first loop that were full hookup. There is two onsite dump stations and drinking water taps to refill your tanks.
Campground site can be reserves through OhioStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com and cost $30 per night plus a reservation fee of $8 for electric only sites. Full hookup sites are $41 per night.

The Campground is located at 9000 Center Rd., Wilmington. From I-71, take St. Rt. 73 East for a short distance to St. Rt. 380 North. Follow 380 to Center Rd. Turn Left on Center Rd. The Day Lodge is located off Clarksville Road. Clarksville Road is located off of State Route 73 East/West or off of Oregonia Road.
