Hey! So I’m new to this. I’m looking into adopting a Labrador in the next year or so and was thinking of entering in duck hunting competitions to obtain a title for my lab. I’m here doing my research on duck hunting so I make sure I get all the right equipment and can be a solid hunter before I adopt my dog and train it for retrieving. I loved this video, I could definitely see myself in this type of environment. Keep up the good content.

@@UziNineMillimeter Not exactly what I was saying, I wear all Sitka. I just hunt almost everyday of season and I want the best possible gear for me. I don’t pay full price of course but I only have it because of how hardcore of a hunter I am. I know how to hunt is the key tho

@@deerhunter1614 take one census on people who are dripped in sitka east of the mississippi and I can all but promise you they got into hunting maybe the last two years, dropped money on dive bombs, sitka, and Browning shotguns, and started an instagram to promote their guiding services and pro-staff for brands. What is sad is I’m in the same age bracket as these people and just see that its all for social media clout. Idk, maybe Im wrong and just upset I cant go and spend daddys money on nice things.

@@UziNineMillimeter Well I believe and there’s the same stuff that goes on here minus a few people. This is my 6th season now and I’m not into any of that shit, I run with my boys and my boys only. No guide service bs, none of us are sponsored, hell I don’t even own divebombs. We run avians and dave smiths, we have what we have because of the stuff people don’t see. Waking up at 4 to go to work so we can hunt the evenings. We work for what we have, none of us came from a wealthy family

No kidding, I'm 17, been goose hunting since I was 15 so I'm no expert but I've gotten pretty good at goose calling but I practiced every day with a BG canada hammer until I realized I wanted to get serious then I picked up a molt gear and a C&S and it made a huge difference

I used to hunt those same marshes when I went to SU over 20 years ago. At least there were a few birds around back then. MD waterfowl sucks these days
